Shiv Nadar University (SNU), Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh has a good placement record over years. The institute recently started its 2022 placement drive. Students of Shiv Nadar University receive good CTC packages during its placement drive.

During the ongoing 2022 placement drive at Shiv Nadar University campus, 16 students from various courses were placed. These students got placement offers from ZS Associates. Placement Experience:

In my class of chemistry, no student took placement, everyone wanted to go for higher studies in India or abroad. Some students did decide to appear for government exams. But 85 per cent of students in my batch were placed.

Internships Opportunities:

OCJ on-campus Jobs are available throughout the year. In my class, there is a lot of scope for research work. The facility of very expensive instruments and machines makes this university ab university of eminence

Review of Shiv Nadar University

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is good. The average placement of the college is 15 lakhs but considering 20 Lakhs fees it is very less. Due to the small batch size, there is less competition in the college for placement among students.

Internships Opportunities:

Students are given internships from the second year onward. Startups come to campus and recruit students in the summer break and give spend accordingly. Students also apply for some off-campus internships.

Internship Opportunities at SNU

Placement Experience:

Most of the placements are done in the seventh semester (for IT) and major core placements are done in the early eighth or later seventh semester. Though many people opt for further studies the academic placement here is just amazing

CDC works to find good opportunities for students for internships. Various Tech/Core/Consultancy companies come to SNU and they shortlist students as per their need. Nearly all students manage to get good sponsorship.

SNU- Why you should come

Placement Experience:

The campus placement process starts in the 3rd year. A lot of the students opt for further studies so they may not sit for placements. For a few courses the last semester the students are expected to do an internship while some an expected to write a thesis ( depending on the course). The placements for the engineering branches are good with median CTCs above 12 LPA.

Internships Opportunities:

A few of the companies that came this year with internship and job opportunities are: Bain and Company, American Express, JP Morgan, Delloite, Morgan Stanley, PwC, HCL, Infosys. The highest package someone got till now was around 70 LPA. The CDC also helps freshers land internships in the top 4s or the startups the SNU AIC is working with.

Shiv Nadar University - All you need to know

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good as the median salary is almost 8-9 LPA for engineering. Students become eligible after the 5th semester to sit for internships provided by the college. The top companies that visit the campus are Goldman Sachs, Adobe, and Dell. The highest package offered was 31.5 LPA and the average is around 8 LPA. In engineering, the placement rate is about 94%.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities with my college are pretty decent with roles ranging from Data analyst, Software engineer intern to advisor or Consultant. OCJs also help students build their resumes and gain experience working on campus.

Navigating campus life: A review of my college - Shiv Nadar University

Placement Experience:

I will become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Tons of good companies visit our campus every year. To name a few, we have Amazon, Amex, Dell, Goldmann Sachs, HP, etc. The highest package this year is about 55 lpa and the average package is 12 LPA and the median is 11 LPA. I guess over 90% of students got placed. I am hoping to get a good placement after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. All big companies come to SNU for placements few big names are Goldman Sachs, Dell, and HCL .95% of students are placed rest go for higher studies. 8 plus cgpa is recommended for placements. The highest package offered was 48 LPA and the average package varies from branch to branch for CSE it's 16lpa and for ECE it's 14 LPA. My plan after getting a degree is to pursue MBA.

Internships Opportunities:

I am yet to get an internship however as far as internships are considered students usually have the freedom to go as they like. Our university more focuses on research opportunities being provided. For that, we have OURs under which students can research a topic under the guidance of a professor.

Honest Words from a undergrad CS student at SNU

Placement Experience:

I can only speak on behalf of the CSE department. The placements for our branch are good enough (Avg package this year was 14-15 LPA). A lot of good companies like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley do visit us although not a lot of people get through the early rounds. This bit entirely depends upon the individual as I have seen students from ECE outperform CSE kids at times during placements.
