Remarks :
I have taken admitted to this college purely on the basis of merit in the 3rd cut-off list from the general category. But now they have switched to Admission based on cuet scores which are to be taken into consideration. In order to be eligible for admission to DU for bcom course you need to secure an aggregate of 40% in all subjects in your intermediate I have also applied for the CW quota for admission to other Colleges but Didn't get selected. To avail CW quota you need to have an educational Concession certificate and you will get seats in your preferred college on a priority basis from 1 to 8 as per the conditions prescribed. Now there has been a significant change in the admission process. You will have to undergo the cuet entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the colleges at DU follow the same curriculum for the same courses. I had commerce without maths, so I ended up getting admission to bcom course which is one of the most prominent courses at DU. Since there was merit-based admission, loads of students applied for seats in this college. Currently, we have a strength of around 96 in my class. There are 4 sections For Bcom with an average strength of 350 students in bcom Program particularly. All the faculty members have proficient skills and thorough knowledge of their subjects and hold a PhD degree. The teaching method is also up to the mark. It depends from teacher to teacher. The syllabus is vast as per the new education policy but Can be covered with dedication within a month. Exams constitute subjective and lengthy questions so that there is no scope for cheating. Exams are conducted periodically after every 4 months for each semester along with preparatory leaves which is sufficient for a student to cover the syllabus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Initially, we had around 8000 rs For 1st year then it got hiked by 1000. I paid 9000 for my second year. Fees may likely to hike in years to come but still, it is one of the cheapest colleges in DU with the least fees. I didn't avail of any scholarship since I couldn't meet the eligibility criteria but students can apply for a fee concession if their parents have an annual income of fewer than 3 lakhs. Students have to seek scholarships from their own end. The Vice-chancellor Of DU also provides summer and winter internships to a few students who scored above 8 cgpa. There are various societies in our college that can help you out in building connections and providing internship opportunities.

The college organised an Annual cultural Fest name Phoenix which features various cultural activities such as dance performances, music and artist performances. There are various Societies and NGOs run by students of our college. They also organise their respective fests which include various events and competitions, exhibitions, Presentations, speaker sessions, etc. MLNC has the biggest Library in Entire DU having more than lakhs of books. Students can issue books with their college ID cards. fine will be imposed on Default and late return of the book, 1 rs fine per day delay The classroom is well furnished with proper electricity having fans, desks, blackboard. Classes don't have ACs and Projectors. The college has all sports but it requires prior permission from the Principal and teachers to hoist any match and introduce new games.
