Remarks :
When class 12th results were out, Delhi University released the application form on Delhi University Official Website which was around 500. Then the next step was cut off which was divided into 5 stages. But the cut-off for my course was very high and it was very difficult for me to get into this college and desired course as I came from the general category and didn't have any reservations benefits. Yes, I faced a problem as in 4th cut off I applied for PGDAV College and but then it was not showing whether the form is filled this was because of a glitch and there was no official number on which I could contact after a lot of efforts I got one number and then the problem was solved. So at least one number should be there on the official website which is 24/7 available.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually, my first preference was Economics Hons and not this course but since the cut-off for economics hons was high so I kept it as a second choice as I was a bit interested in accounts. The faculty: student ratio in my opinion is not equal to last year's when there were about 45-50 students in class before covid, but this time there are about 70 students. So it's not how it used to be earlier. The faculty are mixed some teach quite well and some teach ok ok but there is one flaw with some teachers which is irregularity. The exams were a bit late because of covid but now it is on time. The exams for the second semester were a bit difficult as it was after 2 years of covid. Also, the pattern for accounts was also changed which made it difficult to complete the exam in a good way.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of our college is one of the cheapest in whole Delhi University so this is a very positive point of our college. For scholarship, it is available for students under certain income level but I didn't feel so couldn't get the benefit from it. In campus there is nothing like campus jobs as to my knowledge. There are only societies available which gives no money.
Campus Life :
In my college earlier there were accidents which happened on fests so because of this authorities had stopped conducting fests on large scale as compared to other colleges in Delhi University. In library books are available but for older versions for latest versions there are very less copies available and it's like first come first go. The classrooms are a bit old compared to what they should have been. For social life there are societies available in college but to be honest, I don't think that the societies are of any value I want something related to stock markets through which I can get some value or knowledge of stocks but the societies available in college are either of dance, singing or rest have social service or writing skills or digital marketing.
