Remarks :

I have pursued Bachelor's in English from Bethune College. You have to secure a minimum of 75% marks in 10+2 with 85% in English. You can find the application form on the official website of Bethune College. The fees of Bethune per year are around 1200. The admission starts after the declaration of the school results. There is special eligibility for the special castes. The faculty of this college is great.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took up this course because I always wanted to get into the field of writing and pursue my favorite subject from such an esteemed university has indeed helped me. There are around 6 faculty members and each one of them is amazing and highly knowledgeable. Most of them have a Ph.D. in English. The professors teach and treat you like their own children and help you on a personal level as well. We had 6 semesters in 3 years. If you study properly in your course duration, you will excel in the subject since the faculty teach you from the ground level.

Class Size : 42Course Fees : INR 2500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As discussed earlier, the course fee per year is around 1200 rupees. There is no extra money hike or something since it is a government college. There are various scholarship programs for the students and also, and you receive Kanyashree and various other scholarships during the course. In Kanyashree, we received around 25000, and also, other scholarships give a good amount from college and from the WB government.

Campus Life :

We have an annual fest named AALAP held by the college. There is a college committee that involves various types of responsibilities. There is no politics in the college, unlike other government colleges. There is a huge library for both the Arts and Science departments. There are separate classrooms for each course. The classrooms are big, well-ventilated, has great seating facility, and have a blackboard. We have a huge playground where different activities are held and also, there is a sports day. Also, almost all festivals and important days are celebrated in the college. There are a lot of clubs like cultural, photography, sports, etc. and they are quite active.

Actually, I am very interested in geography. And I want to know everything about our Global and etc. In that case, I choose this course. The student is very cool. Minimum Qualification In 12th Pass Need geography subject in 12th pass and the Minimum marks need 50 % Above The exam is sponsored by Calcutta University and if you read and every day present in your class then definitely you passed the exam. Take it easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always been interested in literature that's why I chose this one. There are a total of 5 professors in our department and the total student is nearly 130. literature itself is a very difficult subject you have to give internal exams before giving the semester exam. You can pass internal exams quite easily but semester exams are hard to pass, you have to study yourself and collect more info then what your professors are giving.

See, if you study well then the exam is too easy but if you did not study then the exam is difficult. So study well and pass the exam easily. The faculties in our college are really hard working and teach us very efficiently in the college. Always ask us if we have any issues with the syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because this course made me stronger in my subject and gave me a degree. The faculty is very helpful. The faculty is very helpful but sometimes they don't give response to us for some reason. But overall it is good. Teaching is very informative and stronger by famous professors. Exams mostly happen in a timely. 6 months per Semester. You have to study in detail to pass.

I chose B. A in English Honours, for English literature, has been my passion from the very beginning. The availability of faculty is moderate in numbers but they are quite friendly and knowledgeable. Students are also cooperative and well-mannered. Term exams are timely taken as well the scheme and method are appreciated. Although it's not quite difficult to pass for a mediocre student.
