Remarks :

I took JEE Main exam in February 2021, eligibility for JEE Main is you have to appear in the 12th class or pass out. Chances for JEE Main are 3 times. You have applied online application form for JEE Main exam through jeemain.nta.nic.in and the cost will be approx 600.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the ECE branch in Nit Srinagar because I want to go into tech companies. Faculty most of the are good to remember it's a government college that's why you will not get good marks if you didn't give accurate answers in exams. All faculties are PhD holders. The semester happened in four months and semester exams happened timely and if you study properly you will not face any issues with exam time

Class Size : 105Course Fees : INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For internship you have to apply from your own side and for this, you have to make dummy projects. If want to do an internship in machine learning internship then you have to make a project in the machine learning domain

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies visited Nit Srinagar for finding good students. In my branch which is ECE Placement for the 2021-22 batch is highest 22 lpa and average of 10 to12lpa and a minimum of 8 lpa

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In Nit Srinagar fees didn't hike yet. If I will about scholarships, if you belong to SC/ST category then your tuition fee which is 125000/year will be exempt and you have to the registration fee, hostel fee and mess fee which is around 80000/year ( including all). if you belong to OBC/General and your income less than one lac your course fee will be equal to SC/ST categories students as I said earlier. OBC/General student's income is between 1 to 5 lac they have to pay 1.25 lac per year ( including all). OBC/General student's income greater than 5 lac have to course fees of around 2 lac per year ( including all)

Campus Life :

I'm not participating in any fest but, I think the fest happened every month. The library is very good for studying and you will find any books whatever you want. Sports are cricket, football, volleyball, badminton etc

Hostel Facilities :

hostel rooms are good and you will get all facilities that you need. Meal are average. Registration process for hosel very easy . After getting admission you have come in Nit Srinagar and you will get hostel easy

One of the beautiful college campus in india

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our college compared to other NITs we get in these ranks. CSE & IT is considered best here then ECE is also good. You can go for lower branches also, placement does happen in every branch. Our average placement is 13lpa. Every year nearly early 80% of students got placed in this college.

The placement records of our college have seen a significant improvement over a few years with the institution recording all-time high placement records in the 2023 year. NIT Srinagar Internship Review

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good as it is NIT. Around 85 percent of all branches are getting placements with average package of 6.5 Lacs and highest package of 27 LPA. Even i am placed in 2 companies. All big MNCs and all core companies visit our campus like Vedanta, tata, juspay, Oracle, optum, and many more.

NIT SRINAGAR Best with some cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered in the college after the 6th semester. Students who are willing to get a placement can apply after 6th semester in the placement cell of the college. There are different companies like HCL, Samsung, Infosys etc. From last year's placement data, the highest package was 25 lakh and the average package for the IT department was 11.5 lakh. Almost 80% of students who applied got their placements. I also have plans to get my placement on campus and get a good package.

Explore of Srinagar city with study experience

Placement Experience:

Last year's placement is extremely excellent. If I talk about my department students grant a higher package of 22 lack provided by oil India PSU. And lower is 6 lack and moderate is 8-9 lack and placement percentage of all the students of my branch is 78 percent. Some students go for higher studies.
