Remarks :

In order to get admission to this institution we have to appear in the JEE MAINS examination. For that, you should have qualified 12th with maths, physics and chemistry as the main subjects. Eligibility for this is mentioned on NTA's official website. A student can avail reservation if he/she belongs to any reserved category mentioned in the information brochure of NTA for JEE mains.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Course Curriculum is as good as it could be. I chose this course because the modern world has a lot to do with technology, especially artificial intelligence and machine learning. Information technology course is related to this field and you get to learn futuristic things. The faculty is very much qualified and help the students to get on track for their future journey. Faculty members are highly qualified in this field, they have published their own papers on this subject and are working for the betterment of technology. College exams are a little bit more difficult than school exams as we have to apply our knowledge to face real-world problems and get their solutions.

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies and external colleges like IITs offer internships for the students of our college. Many companies offer stipends and many do not. Research interns, and tech intern facilities are given to the students. Students get to know the field well in which they have to work in future, be it technology, science or any other field like entrepreneurship etc.

Placement Experience :

Placements are offered in the college after the 6th semester. Students who are willing to get a placement can apply after 6th semester in the placement cell of the college. There are different companies like HCL, Samsung, Infosys etc. From last year's placement data, the highest package was 25 lakh and the average package for the IT department was 11.5 lakh. Almost 80% of students who applied got their placements. I also have plans to get my placement on campus and get a good package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure depends on the annual income of the student's family. I can say it is affordable to every student, doesn't matter which community or income level he/she belongs to. The cost of the study is not as high as private colleges charge. Students can also avail of different scholarships like NSP , labour assistance scholarships and many private organisation scholarships.NSP provides scholarships according to the family income and fees submitted by the students. I got 11.5k for the previous year from NSP. There is an on-campus opportunity for placements as well with an average package of 11lpa for my course.

Campus Life :

There are many annual and reach festivals that are celebrated throughout the year by different clubs of the college. The annual festival is celebrated in the month of December before vacations. In the Library, you get almost all books related to all fields of science and technology. classrooms are designed to attract students with all the basic needs that a classroom demands. There are fields or grounds for almost all sports activities. Sports and co-curricular activities are also very good. There are different clubs and groups that are active in the college related to social and technological fields.

Hostel Facilities :

A hostel facility is also available for students who want to be in the hostel. Hostel rooms contain a bed, a table and a separate chair for studies. It also contains a cupboard for the students. A mess facility is also available for hostellers. The meals provided are of good quality and take care of both vegetarians and non-veg people. In order to avail of hostel facilities you have to submit a registration form to the hostel office and get your rooms allotted by the hostel officer. There is the availability of rented rooms or PG facilities in the college locality at affordable cost.

One of the beautiful college campus in india

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our college compared to other NITs we get in these ranks. CSE & IT is considered best here then ECE is also good. You can go for lower branches also, placement does happen in every branch. Our average placement is 13lpa. Every year nearly early 80% of students got placed in this college.

The placement records of our college have seen a significant improvement over a few years with the institution recording all-time high placement records in the 2023 year. The student started getting placement offers in the 6th semester. The average package is 12LPA, the highest package is 40LPA and the Lowest package is 6LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good as it is NIT. Around 85 percent of all branches are getting placements with average package of 6.5 Lacs and highest package of 27 LPA. Even i am placed in 2 companies. All big MNCs and all core companies visit our campus like Vedanta, tata, juspay, Oracle, optum, and many more.

Explore of Srinagar city with study experience

Placement Experience:

Last year's placement is extremely excellent. If I talk about my department students grant a higher package of 22 lack provided by oil India PSU. And lower is 6 lack and moderate is 8-9 lack and placement percentage of all the students of my branch is 78 percent. Some students go for higher studies.
