Review of dayananda Sagar College of engineering

Remarks :

I wrote comedk exam and through counseling, I got DSCE Bangalore CSE branch for our batch(2020) cutoff was around 3,700 for CSE. You can apply through comedk website and then give the exam all details regarding the same will be shared on comedk website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose B.E IN CSE bcoz I was more interested in maths, so I took CSE. There are many faculties in our college and almost all of them did M.TECH and few of them also Did Ph.D. from good colleges. But when it comes to teaching it's not so great. they teach up to a certain extent you can't completely depend on them for exams. The exams(internals) are conducted almost every month which sucks and sem exams will be conducted once in 5 months.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements will start from the 7th semester from the month of October till December. Many service-based companies and a few product-based companies visit the college. This year a total of 960 offers were made. Highest package being-28Lpa, Average package of-6lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

When it comes to fees, it is around 2,40,000 in our time in 2020 but now they have increased it, like for every year they are increasing by 20k. But if you join through kcet(which is only allowed for Karnataka lads) the fee will be significantly less around 98k and on top of that if you are eligible you can apply for scholarships given by the government of Karnataka.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is conducted once every year in the month of April/May and they call it 'furore' . There is a vast library where you can find almost every book which is related to the courses offered by the college. The classrooms are fine, but not so great. There are many clubs in the college like a center for performing arts, point blank-it is a club related to coding and staff.

Placements are excellent at BMSCE students get placed from the 5th semester onwards. Some companies which visit include Infosys, Intel, hp, Cisco, etc. The highest package will be 40 to 50 LPA each year and the average package is around 9lpa. In CSE the placements are almost 100% but considering all branches it's around 80%. I am planning to do a job after my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be an engineer that's why I chose this course. Student 21 and teachers 12 it's the ratio. Teachers are very well qualified but lack the experience that's why teachers join our college to get some experience The teaching is good and smart classes are available. Sem exams are conducted after every 4 months and 3 internals are conducted. Its somewhat difficult to pass the exams, If you study a bit you can pass them.

Generally, Students are eligible from the 7th sem for placements. Many Companies visit the campus and provide placements to the students. As per my knowledge, the minimum salary per annum is 3 lakhs and the max is 25 lakhs. Even college will guide future studies also by inviting higher officials for the talk.
