Remarks :

My college takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains. So I am satisfied with the admission process. Just a student has to score well in JEE mains to get admitted here. You will get refreshments while your admission and also unlimited refreshment from stalls of different banks. The only problem is with your parents as our college does not provide a guest house for parents so they have to manage it on their own if they have to stay.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because at my rank I was getting this course. Also, NIT Jamshedpur is famous for its course branches. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders from well-known IITs. Exams happen on time and it will be easy to pass the examinations. The level of questions depends on the faculty who is making the paper and it will vary from easy to difficult.

Class Size : 114Course Fees : INR 224000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

30 percent of students from our mechanical engineering branch get an internship with an average stipend of 40000 as a trainee engineer in companies like TATA motors, TATA Steel, etc. Some of our ongoing projects like drones that can paint high-rise structures of industries etc.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placement from 4 th year. Almost all companies visited our campus including Tata motors, TATA powers, TATA Steel, Atlassian, Oracle, Ola, Uber, Flipkart, etc. The highest package is 85 lakhs offered by Atlassian. The average package for the CSE branch is 27 lakhs, for ECE 20 lakhs, for Electrical it is 16 laks for mechanical it is 10 lakhs. Almost all students in our college get placed. My plan is to join DRDO after the completion of my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it is NIT so the cost of the study is lesser than IIT. But the facilities are of top class. You will easily get loans from banks and there are lots of scholarship programs by the respective state governments and corporate companies. You can get post metric scholarship, FFE, etc. If you get the internship you can get around 40k per month.

Campus Life :

The annual cultural fest of our college is CULFEST and the tech fest is OJASS. Culfest will be conducted in April this year and Rojas will be in May. Our library is a three-floor building. You will get almost all books and journals in the library of engineering. Classrooms are newly constructed so you will get centralized ac, smartboard, and comfortable bench. The sports culture is very good in our college. Our college has almost all sports teams including cricket, hockey, football, badminton, etc. There are lots of extracurricular activities like NSS, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, etc took place in our college. There are lots of clubs in our college like Pheonix for RC planes, Drift for racing cars, Daksh for off-road cars, phocus, Rays, Revanta, Innoreva, beat breakers, Rooh, Sankalp, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

First-year hostel rooms are double sharing You will get a big window, a fan, a bed, and an almirah. Meal quality is good and nutritious. You will get 5 days nonveg in a weak. Hostel fees are 48000 per semester. You can easily get a room in the adityapur area.

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is very good with 90+ percent. From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. Mostly companies offer SDE, Analyst, consultancy profiles for students and highest package is from 45 to 50 lpa and average is 12 lpa. I don't have any plans just to get placed in a company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in studying b.tech in computer science and engineering and learning about computer machines and their software so I opted for studying at chaibasa engineering college. In chaibasa engineering college the faculty-to-student ratio is very nice as here it's 1 teacher with over 40 students and the teacher can clarify every student's doubts and can also interact with everyone. Here the teacher is also highly qualified with having P.hd in a particular field and many have done masters from IITs. The teaching style of the teachers is fabulous and explains very complex topics very easily and tries to reach every student's doubts. during our first semester curriculum, the college took two main internal assessment exams which were what we were taught in the class and the difficulty level was moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because here placements are very good. The faculties are very good and well-knowledgeable, and the student ratio is 1:4 for girls:boys. Faculties are well qualified from IITs and the teaching methods are also very nice. The term exam is taken after every four to five months and exams are easy.
