Can be more organized (although it is well organized).

Course Curriculum Overview :

Technology and IT will be the future of this small world this is the main reason behind choosing this course. This college is full of the best and great faculty. They are friendly and try to interact with each and every student. The maximum is Ph.D. holders and their experience is helping us to excel. The student ratio is about 60:40. The difficulty level is moderate if you will study you can.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship in web development and management offered by companies like websites, WIPRO, and TCS. Internship in NGO too. And many other companies but you need to follow the college website regularly for updates.

Placement Experience :

65- 75 percent of students are placed every year. Even students who are pursuing BA are also placed which is not very common in other colleges. Companies like TCS often visit here for placement. The average package is about 2.9-3.5 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Affordable fee structure with plenty number of scholarships. Famous scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship which is too helpful for paying the fees. Also, those who are not getting any scholarships will get a concession from the college.

Campus Life :

Besides studying this college is also focused on the extra curriculum activities. There are plenty amount of events organized every year which includes annual sports meet, freshers' party, annual fest, science fair, etc.

A story of a average student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Okay number of classes that we're given is quite enough and every class time limit is 1hour to hour. The faculty member of our department is very helpfull and good. There are 6 professor and 4 of them assigned to the mathematics bsc honours classes. They provide us every detail and knowledge of their papers. After completion 80% of the syllabus our term exams internals are held and it is quite hard to pass if you are not regular to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Mathematics because it is really an interesting subject and I study it with great curiosity. The faculty is extremely good with brilliant professors who help the students at their best in every way possible. The students get engrossed in their studies by the environment. The professor teaches very nicely by making the students understand each concept minutely. They come up with different ways so that the topics become comparatively easy to grasp. 6-semester exams will be held in the 3 years course. Two end semesters in one year. Internals are taken by the professor before the end semester. A student can easily pass these exams if he/she studies diligently.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All of the professors are good at this college. All of them are well qualified and they have done their PhD from well-known institutes. They teach very well in an interactive way. They are very friendly and they also give guidance about higher studies. There are 2 exams per semester. One is internal and the other is the final semester exam. This college is not an autonomous one but it is under Calcutta university. Internal exams are easy but since it is under CU so final sem exam can be tough, it depends on the university of Calcutta.

I am studying Zoology Honours there. I chose the course because that's my field and I wanna do something big in life science. The Faculty: Student Ratio in our department is really good. It's around 1:10. The teachers are really qualified in their subject. Most of them have done research in their own field. Their teaching method is student-friendly and they teach in English and Bengali. The terms are running timely as of now and the exam difficulty depends upon how you pay attention to it.
