REVIEW OF IIITDMJ

Remarks :

I got admission by jee mains exam. I applied for josaa and csab and got into this college. You should have your rank around 13000 crl if you belong to general and want admission in cse. you will receive the application form through the website of the college and they will upload it during the admission period after csab rounds. there are reserved benefits for sc/st/obc/ews/pwd candidates. The admission process was way long, and took almost two days. I want the admission process to become simple and short.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I like cse. it has got high-paying jobs. faculties are sufficient as per students.in cse there are two batches each of about 150 students, and in both batches, different teacher is taking lectures.so faculty to student ratio is good roughly 15:1. all faculty members are phd professors however you would not like some of them as there teaching method is not good, while some are excellent at teaching.it is not difficult to pass term exams, they are easy if you study in class. there are 4 exams in each semester quiz 1, mid sem, quiz2, and ends, with equal time gaps.

Placement Experience :

4th-year students are eligible for campus placements. this year amazon visited and did a mass recruitment of 27 students. the highest package was 43 lpa and the average is 22 lpa. in cse if you are sitting for placement, 99% will get it. but for other branches, placements are not good. I will work as sde in a company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Semester fees for general/ews/obc is 83720 and for sc/st it is around 18000. Also, there are many other fees like mess fees which are 15000 per semester and hostel fees 11000 per semester. I got mmvy scholarship which is for Madhya Pradesh students only.

Campus Life :

It has 3 annual fests. Cultural (tarang), tech (abhikalpan),sports (gusto). There is enough availability of books in the library. generally, semester books are issued to a group of 3 students so that all can get an advantage of the library. classrooms are inclined and big, have ac, good quality benches, and smart board. there are many sports like cricket, football, badminton, basketball and many more. you can join multiple sports clubs. TPC (programming club), BMC (business management club), jarati are run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

1 bunker bed,2 chairs,2 tables,1 fan,1 lan port, are in each room and in summer season you can get coolersby paying extra money . mess food is very good.registration process for hostel is done on same day of admission in college.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Any opportunities are given to the students based on their qualifications. If students are not into placement then their plan is to qualify for GATE. It is a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for admission to the masters.

Placement Experience:

Our college placements record is quite excellent, but core companies are lesser placement records. From the 5th-6th semester, companies came for the placements and some companies provide internships and training for the selected students for that company. Above 6.0 CGPA of students are getting placements. For Now, My plan is to be placed in a very reputed company with a very good package for earning and then moving ahead.

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester (CPI > 8). The highest package (as of the year 2022) is 82 LPA, and the average package (as of the year 2022) is near about 18 LPA. I am interested in earning some work experience and then approaching higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to become a successful software engineer. Faculty students ratio is not very sufficient we need some more experienced faculties. Some teachers are well qualified and experienced and are helpful to us but more than half teachers are freshers and have no experience of teaching and we struggle with them.
