Remarks :

There was an entrance exam named CUET. Based on that exam and board exam marks we got the colleges according to the cut-offs. There is a reservation for girls and another backward caste too. A lot of things are needed to be taken care of during filling out the form.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I find literature somewhere an interesting subject. I like reading novels and books and I wanted to explore more about the literature world. That's why I opted for English Hons. The faculty is very good. If you seriously want to study and know things you will definitely love the faculty.

Class Size : 62Course Fees : INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come in our college like Mahindra, SBI, TATA, Coaching centers, etc. they provide good internship opportunities to the students with a stipend of 8k-20k. An internship fair is there every year in our college.

Placement Experience :

The placement is not very good. Basically, after completing many students go for M.A. and many go for different competitive exams like civil services, state exams, etc. But companies come to our college for internships. The highest package is around 6 lakhs per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee of Dyal singh is very nominal which is almost 13k per year. Also, it gives scholarships to students who are in need, and also many companies come to college for internships. So if any student wants to join any company. It's a good opportunity.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is normally conducted in March every year. This year the name of the annual fest is Priyadarshini. The annual fest is very good. Also, the annual sports day is conducted every year in our college. There are many societies in our college which enhance the creativity of the students.

The most underrated college of DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I was from PCM (science) background in 12th board and I literally wanted to shift in the course of the art. And science students always look for what best subject in art which is ECONOMICS and we choose this. And the second reason is Economics is something challenging and It provides you to think bigger and know about the money and market. So these are the reason I selected this course. My class has 40 students and except for the Micro teacher, No one teaches very well. We are the first batch of CUET and we just got approx. 3 months to prepare for the semester with an increase in the subject. So that is always hard when you are getting experimented with new things.

WHY I LOVE MY ARSD COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students from 2nd year or 5th semester are eligible for pre-placement offers. However, 1st-year students are eligible for internship opportunities only. Around 40 companies visited campus with their placement offers for Bcom. Hons, Bcom, B.A Hons Economics, & some BSc courses. Companies included some Big4 companies like KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, Wipro, HCL & many more. My plan after getting the degree is to go for MBA or MA in Economics.

Mata sundri in a nutshell

Placement Experience:

From the first year onwards we are eligible for internship opportunities by internship cell. During our 6th sem, we are eligible for job interviews. The placement cell is working hard to review their work in a well-mannered form but still, they lag in bringing big companies to college for on-campus placement drives. Companies like byjus, Genpact, etc. came for placements and they offer full-time jobs for 4-6 lacs package varying from the post they offer. The highest package could go up to 7-8 lacs and on average it's 2 lacs. They offered a various range of profiles to get into. The percentage should be more than 65% at least to get the final placement done smoothly. Plans for graduation are going for higher students in this subject only who want to have a PhD degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All faculty members were helpful throughout the course and encouraged me to excel in other domains as well. But some teachers just didn't care about the students and were attending classes just for the sake of it. My college was a girl college and there were some male and more female faculty members.
