Remarks :

I got admission through jee main. I don't have any reservation benefits. First, there is a jee main counseling in which I got my mechanical branch. The admission process and documentation are online which is very good. Although soft copies of documents should be submitted after 10 days of the online process.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I am interested in machine parts and how it works. Also I have some interest in mechanics. Faculty are good but sometimes they teach in their mother language (odiya) which is difficult to understand by outsiders. Teaching method are really good they done the whole syllabus in the given time. The exams and internals are not too much difficult and the exams are always in time.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 97500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Sail, hvac provided internship in our college. I have done my internship in hvac Kolkata in which I learned a lot of things like how coolant works, how the connections work, and about the end gate, or gate practically.

Placement Experience :

After the 6th-semester students become eligible for placement. Wipro, Infosys, HCL, siemens, cognizant, wells fargo visited for campus placement. The average package we got is 3.5 lakh per annum. The highest package got is 6lpa through Siemens. Almost 55% of students get placement. My plan after getting a degree is to get a job first.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't see any hike in my 4 years career. I have not gotten a scholarship. I have tried hard to get a campus placement but my luck was not in my favor and I didn't get any placements. But more than 40% of mechanical branches got placements.

Campus Life :

The tech fest name I forgot but it happened in February and there was a team made of students who conducted the tech fest. Almost all books related to the mechanical branch are available in the library. Sports activities are done every year for 3-5 days which is really good. There is no social group run by students.

Honest review about CGU

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement many companies used to come such as Amazon, cisco, pwc, tcs, wipro, cognizant, and many more companies come for campus placement. The highest package is 45 lakhs whereas the lowest pakage is 4.5 to 5lakh. more than 95 percent of students get placed. My next plan after getting the degree is to become a politician.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the start of the 7th semester. Anyone having zero backlogs is eligible to sit for placements. Around 200-250 companies from different sectors like IT, analytics, finance, and electronics visit every year. Around 900 students were placed last year from 1100 students with a record of 100% placement in the Mining And Metallurgy Department. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs from Microsoft and the average package was 11 lakhs. If in case you didn't get placements you can still try for off-campus placements in various companies. I am already selected for an internship at Qualcomm and will target PPO next year.
