Remarks :

Students can get admission to this college via qualifying JEE mains exam and then as per their rank, they will get a chance to take admission to NIT college through jossa or csab counselling. For general candidate Jossa counselling fees is 45000+ seat acceptance fees 35000 this amount will get back to you as college admission fees for the first year and the rest will be refunded to your account. Homestate quota reservation is also there for Chattisgarh students. Admission forms and undertaken are available on NIT Raipur's official website.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I want to pursue engineering in a core branch of a premium institute and as per my rank this was the best college I get. And after experiencing all the courses and curriculum here I can say that it is really nice. Faculty: student ratio is approx 1:7 Most of the professors are PhD And are selected through tough exams and interviews So their quality is outstanding but it depends on students how to grab the knowledge they are providing. In one year there will be two exams both along with practicals One is in mid sem and the other one is end of the semester Exams are not that difficult .you can easily get good marks but a decent amount of study is required because there will be relative grading.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements in the seventh semester. 101 companies like Wipro, Adobe, info red etc are visited And 738 offers are made by them. 85 % of students are placed in various tech and non-tech companies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

First-year academic fees for general/obc category students is 140600 rupees But fees will be reduced as per annual income For annual income between 1 lakh -5 lakh 57267 For annual income <1 lakh 15600

Campus Life :

Annual fest Eclectica was conducted in Feb And one weak before it tech fest avartan is there. The campus has a central library where all books related to engineering and other different fields are available you can Any time go there and read them you need a library card to issue them. All types of sports and gym facilities are available An annual sports fest named sammar is also conducted by students. Many Instagram pages and websites of different clubs and communities are run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are provided on a merit basis for 2nd third and fourth year And in the first year, it will be provided according to distance from home. All basic facilities are provided Decent size Daily cleaning Maintainance Fans beds Almira etc Mess is quite nice The quality of food is great as compared to outside campus. Hostels are affordable once you are selected for them you can pay fees through nitrr website. and rooms are allotted in the hostel. Hostal forms are filled out during the admission process. For first-year hostel and mess, fees are 45000rs

My Life at college

NIT RAPIUR - its not what you expect

Placement Experience:

7th semester. infosys, adobe, and Wipro are some of the leading companies that have visited and total of 649 offers were made in 2022. 57.5 lacs was the highest package offered in the IT branch in 2022. about 65% of students on average get placed in nit raipur every year. doing the job for about 2-3 years I plan on focusing on my skills in music and other things.

The place is a quite interesting highest package of 2cr has been garabed in meta by its student And my branch 21 student got 16 lpa and 2 got 55lpa, and students get placed in PSU through the gate. Our seniors secured good ranks in gates like air 6, and 9 in my mining branch.

Honestly, I didn't choose the course, the course chose me. The student ratio is overall good for this course. All the faculties are qualified and they have their teaching ways that help the student to improve. The exams are always held timely and some subjects are easy to pass but some subjects are hard.

NIT Raipur - From my eye

Placement Experience:

NIT Raipur provides wonderful placement and internship opportunities for its students. There are major placements for CSE and IT stream students. Companies like ADOBE, AMAZON, VISA, Deutsche Bank, OPTUM, ORACLE, Arcesium, DE-Shaw, Deolite, TCS, Accenture, and many others visit for both internship and placement opportunities. There is around 95% placement from CSE, IT, and Electronics streams having the highest package of around 55 lakhs and an average of around 18 lakhs. While the other branches also contribute well and stand with an average package of around 10 lakhs.

A Glimpse at NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are average and they offer good placement opportunities. The main placements are offered by tech companies. so you will have to be good in coding and programming to grab the placement. The core companies of other branches other than CS and IT come so less, so they also have to participate in the placement of tech companies. This year the highest package offered was 57 lacs to three students of the college and the lowest being 6lacs. Around 65-80 companies came for the campus placement.
