The lineage of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India can be traced back to Kasturba Medical College, the first self funded medical institution in 1953.
Manipal University, Dubai is one of its offshore branch campuses with a student strength of around 1500 from 26 nations across the globe. It was established in Dubai, UAE in 2000 and moved to its present sprawling, state of the art campus in september 2011.
The present campus is over 750,000 sq. ft. and is able to accommodate over 4000 students. It also features cutting edge laboratories in information technology, engineering and bio-technology, purpose-built classrooms and excellent studios and workshops for media communication and interior design programmes.

Sports Facilities
Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai offers a range of sports facilities to its students. This includes outdoor sports such as mini football field, tennis courts, athletics track, cricket net as well as state of the art gymnasium, indoor volleyball, badminton and basketball court. Apart from that, the campus also has separate recreation rooms for boys which are equipped with snooker, table tennis and foosball tables.
Cafeteria
The campus also has its own food court and cafeteria that offers a wide selection of healthy juices, snacks, vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options at affordable prices. The Food Court menus have both western and Indian dining options that are revised daily. A convenience store is also present at the food court that has vending machines for coffee and tea, beverages and packaged food.
Central Library
The library holds a wide array of study materials and learning resources in the form of books, e-books, journals, e-journals, CD, DVDs, databases, audio-visuals and e-question papers. It has over 16000 books, 2000 audio-visual resources, 100 periodicals, access to around 19370 e-journals at present.
Lab facilities
The Dubai Campus prides itself on state of the art laboratory, studio and workshop facilities for almost every discipline. This includes engineering department labs, pottery studios, product design labs,interior design labs, audio-visual and multimedia labs, information technology, biotechnology labs and so on.
Health services
Round the clock health care service is available for students within Campus. This includes a fully equipped medical room and trained medical staff who are present round the clock to deal with any kind of medical emergencies.Apart from that, it is also mandatory for students on University Visa to have health insurance.
International Students can also get in touch with the staff at International Students Centre if they require further information and/or assistance.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai Courses
MAHE, Dubai offers undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma, Ph.D, certificate and foundation programmes and short term certificate programs in major disciplines such as Engineering, information sciences, management, school of life sciences, media and communication, Architecture and Design, Arts and Humanities.

Manipal University Dubai Student Accommodation
Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai provides on campus accommodation for both boys and girls. thThe rooms are fully furnished with bed, mattress, cupboard,study table and chair. Both boys and girls hostels are WiFi enabled and have common dining rooms.The hostels also have independent common rooms equipped with television and laundry facilities.
A Full-time Warden is present at both the boys and girls hostel who is in charge of student welfare. Apart from that, the hostels also have 24 hour security.
However the residential facilities are available only on a first come first serve basis. Additionally, the hostel facilities are also not available during the summer break.

- Candidates should download the application form from the official website of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai or procure it offline from the admissions office at MAHE.
- The application form should be duly filled in with all requisite information and submitted along with all the necessary documents and registration fee.
- After submission of the online application form, students will be allocated with an online application number.
- The application form can also be submitted directly to the admissions office.

Manipal University Dubai International Student Scholarships
Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai extends scholarships and study grants of upto 50% of its tuition fees to its international students. The scholarships will be offered based on merit and the nationality of the student.
The following scholarships are for students from CBSE/ISC board enrolling in undergraduate programmes:

- Sports Scholarship starting from 5% to 50% will be awarded to students who have represented the National or State sports team as per decisions by the Sports Committee after personal interview and document Evaluation
- Alumni Scholarships are also available for students who have completed their undergraduate from MAHE, Dubai and are planning to pursue a master programme from MAHE. They can avail 10% on tuition fee in addition to any PG merit scholarship they have qualified for
Important Note:
- Scholarships for all one year programmes will be provided in the form of waiver on first semester fees.
- In case of PG programs, no extended scholarships are provided.
