KLE Technological University ranks 136 out of 300 Engineering colleges in India according to NIRF (2020). On the other hand, NITTE University ranks at the 133rd position for the same. Both colleges are among the top institutes in Karnataka and offer BE programs for CSE. The curriculum of the course is flexible according to the current technological trends seen. The library has over 1,04, 000 books, references, reports, encyclopedias, journals, audio-visual resources, etc. NMAM The faculty of the department comprises 32 Assistant professors, 8 Associate Professors, and 3 professors. Moreover, there is 15 technical staff as well. There are 7 clubs in the department namely Finite Loop, Association for Computing Machinery amongst others. There are 10 prominent laboratories in the department such as RDBMS Laboratory, Systems Programming Laboratory, Logic Design Laboratory, etc. Additionally, the department has over 400 computers with 56+ application software. NMAM: Sony India, Hashedin Technologies, TEKsystems Global Services Private Limited, CGI, Faurecia, SLK Software, Attra Infotech, Netskope, Yokogawa Electric are some major recruiters of the CSE department in NMAM. In 2019, out of 208 eligible graduates, 174 students received job offers. Additionally, more than 7 students received internships. The highest salary package is 18.5 lakhs while the average package is around INR 4 LPA. KLE Technical University provides quality education focusing on recent trends in computer science. Also in terms of faculty and placement facilities of KLE technical university is much better than the NMAM institute of technology which is an autonomous engineering college in NITEE. Many companies are offering jobs with good salary packages at KLE technical university. Faculty NMAM: The institute has 318 teaching staff with 120 research scholars working in various research institutes. KLE technical university: T he department of computer science engineering at KLE technical university has the highest number of faculty members which are around 55 faculty members with more than 10 years of teaching experience Placement records Here the placement record is also good for CSE students at KLE technical university than NMAM institute of technology, NITTE. Every year around 100 companies are coming to hire talented students and are offering good salary packages. KLE Technical University: Microsoft, Amazon, SAO lab, BEL, Nokia, Walmart lab, TATA Hitachi, Samsung, Amagi, IBM, Analog devices, etc. Number of selected candidates and salary package details; Amazon AWS offered the highest salary package of 30 lakhs per annum. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded SJBIT Bangalore a grade of A. The University Grants Commission has accredited the institute (UGC). To keep students up to date on current industry trends, the SJBIT placement department maintains relationships with corporations and industries. The placement department at SJBIT Bangalore also organizes placement training such as analytical, technical, and verbal training, group discussions, HR and technical interview skills, and so on. Career counseling and internship assistance are also available. SJB Institute of Technology UG course specializations includes computer science and engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical and electronics engineering. KLE Technological University, formerly known as BVBCET, B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, is accredited with an "A" grade by NAAC and approved by AICTE. If you're considering pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CSE in Bangalore, then SJBIT and KLE Technological University are two great colleges. However, SJBIT could be a better option for you if you're interested in CSE. The following are the reasons: SJBIT has some really good faculties, but it also depends on your perception of them. It has a reputation for having experienced and qualified professors who can provide excellent guidance and support to students. The placement opportunities at SJBIT are pretty good. The placement cell actively works to secure job opportunities. Many well-known companies such as Infosys, Wipro, and TCS have visited the campus for recruitment drives in the past, and SJBIT students have secured jobs with attractive salaries. SJBIT has a strict attendance policy, which means that you have to maintain a certain level of attendance to be eligible to write exams. This could be a good thing for some students who need the discipline of regular attendance to stay motivated and focused. If you decide to study at SJBIT, I would recommend that you choose CSE, ISE or ECE branches. These are the core branches that the college is known for, and the quality of education and infrastructure for these branches is generally better than for other branches. On the other hand, KLE Technological University may not be the best option for you if you're interested in CSE. The college is more focused on traditional engineering disciplines such as Mechanical and Civil engineering, and while it does offer CSE, it may not be the best place to study that particular discipline. SJBIT could be a better choice for you if you're interested in pursuing CSE in Bangalore.
