Admission Criteria

Admission to B.Tech. Program will be based on All India Rank prepared by CBSE based on performance of candidate in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) Examination and also the candidate must be declared eligible for Central Counseling by the CBSE.

The admission to B.Tech. program will be done through Joint Admission Counseling (jointly organized for DTU, NSIT, IIITD & IGDTUW).

85% of the total seats are reserved for candidate belonging to Delhi Region (Students passing the qualifying examination from recognized Board / College / Institution located within the NCT of Delhi) and 15% of the total seats for candidates belonging to outside Delhi Region.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate passing any of the following examinations from a recognized School/College/Institute and securing 60 % or more marks in the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and must have passed English as a subject of study of the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of Bachelor of Technology courses Provided has passed in each subject seprately.5% concession of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements for obc. 10% concession of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.for Sc/ST.

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi.
Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the C.B.S.E.

IGDTUW B.Tech and B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech program, the basic eligibility for is 60% marks in 10+2 in the Science group.
For the B.Arch program, the basic eligibility is 50% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics.

IGDTUW B.Tech. and B.Arch. Selection Criteria

For the selection procedure, JEE Main entrance exam is must for both courses.
Candidates will also be required to appear in counseling by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
Those students who got admissions after the counseling round, have to confirm their admissions by paying 75,000 in advance by SBI Challan or Online.

How to Apply for B.Tech and B.Arch?

Students have to appear for JEE Main entrance exam
After the declaration of results, college releases the cut off for the admissions procedure.
Students have to apply for the admissions. Later, those students who got their name in the cut off list can further apply for the counseling process i.e. JAC.
There will be 3 rounds of cut off list, if any student doesn’t get their names in the 1st round, they apply for other rounds.

This is the best engineering course for any girl student from NCR /Delhi region. The student-to-faculty ratio is excellent and personalized attention is given to every student. All faculty members have either completed their doctorate or are pursuing the same. The term exams were conducted smoothly on schedule and they were moderately difficult.

My College

I am obsessed with cars and engines so I have chosen Mechanical Engineering. So faulty to student ratio would be 5:8 from my side. Because there are excellent faculty in my college and they are very well trained and have sufficient knowledge about their subject. The faculty is very well educated and they have proper knowledge of their subjects. They solve all your doubts whenever and wherever needed. The teaching method is great. They'll give you proper notes and ppts for your better understanding and also make sure to clear all your doubts as much as they can. There are 4 semesters each year and there would be 2 types of examination each semester. So we have a midterm and then we have our end terms. So in midterms only half of the syllabus comes but in the end terms, the whole syllabus would come. The exams are average to pass if you attend the classes regularly and study from the class notes one month before the exams.

i choose mechanical because i was intrested in automobile also in our college mechanical placements are better that other jac colleges our faculty is very good and qualified , every faculty member is from iit or nit they try to explain at there best they can explain,every faculty member is always ready t help for. we have mid term exams and end term exams and exams are really tough levels and collage marking scheam is really hard but if you attend regular classes and understand every thing then easy to understand

Its nice to be not nice

The fun fact is the course was quite difficult as compared to non-core branches ...but you will learn how things are going on around you. I choose this course because I am quite interested in automation making cars and all this stuff .. talking about the faculty they are very supportive all emphasis on doing research and being updated an industry point of view..the exam were competitive enough but once you attend the class it is easy to pass the exam totally depend on your pace ..each semester consist of mid-term and end-term examination

Overview of IGDTU

The faculty consists of doctorate-level professors and the faculty is well-versed in their subjects. The teaching process is very understandable and easy to grasp. There are enough faculty for the students enrolled. Exams were conducted on time and usually last a week at max. The exams were moderate and easy to pass.
