The course curriculum is too vast and interesting, Biotechnology itself is something too important and much needed these days!! The faculty here at NSUT are really helpful and faculty: The student ratio is also fair. Teachers are highly qualified and have their own teaching methods which are very creative. Term exams were held on time so as to bring the semester on track and Academics here are manageable to pass with some extra co-curricular activities too.
Eligibility- JEE CUT OFFS. Application form- JAC website, fees 1200, application dates are released after JEE result is declared. Admission was done through the JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION and the counseling process was done through JAC(JOINT ADMISSION COUNSELLING) website. The admission process was fair enough.
From the 7th semester the students become eligible for the placements and can apply for the internship with all the leading MNCs's google Facebook flipkart amazon and the list continues, in the 3rd year. the median package is marked at 15,00,000/- and the average package is marked at 18,00,000/-. if a student maintains a decent CGPA of 7.0 he/she can secure a good package in all the leading companies irrespective of their branches. my plan is to prepare for the UPSC exam after my Btech degree for the betterment of my life and to make it more progressive.
The selection was solely based on the rank secured in Jee Mains of the same year. we have to register on the website of JACDELHI. reservation of all categories is available and details for the same are available on the website of JACDELHI. Also, there is spot round counseling at the end for the left out seat of all the courses. the admission process is well and easy to deal with.
The first year curriculum sucks very much and does not have many relevance in and itself , additionally we are given really less time in the course , but he faculty is very good and supportive and can make your life easier if you behave well in their classes.
The admission process is based on jee rank and a cutoff list is prepared and multiple rounds are held. After that you have to get your documents verified and if you fail in doing so , your only chance will be spot round after that.
According to the official placements it is very amazing, all students gets placed with 7+ Cgpa, almost all companies arrive in NSUT Like Google Microsoft Uber, highest package of the college is 1Cr and average package is 18LPA
You have to apply in JAC Delhi councelling, DTU ,NSUT, IIITD, IGDTUW, DSEU Comes under jac Delhi, there are 4 normal rounds and spot rounds on the basis of jee mains rank, cutoff of nsut is quite high. Not easy to get admission in this college.
The course BT is NBA accredited and is designed well. There are about 70 students in the class. Exams are difficult but notes are a great help. It is sometimes difficult to pass but if you study in class well and listen, you will not find it that hard. I chose BT because I couldn't get a better branch
I took the JEE exam and the competition is tough. The cutoff of JAC Delhi was very high (even people with 90% percentile couldn't make it ). There is a seat reservation too. To be eligible for the course, you have to clear JEE exam with good marks.
From the end of the 6th sem, you are eligible for campus placements. I haven't appeared for placements yet. About the highest packages. Afaik in the nontech highest package was 27 LPA and the lowest was 5lpa. I'm planning to pursue a master's from Canada after completing btech from here.
For B.tech courses, eligibility is Jee mains. You can apply through jee official website application fee is 2900 for gen male candidates. After jee mains, you need to register in jac Delhi. After which based on your rank you get your desired college and course.
The placement of NSUT is considered one of the best placements in the engineering crowd. We have a proper placement cell that focuses on placements and internships all over the year and as per the current survey NSUT has 100% placement.
The admission process in my year was smooth as it was an online process. The entrance exam for admission to NSUT is JEE and the seat allocation process is by JAC. JAC handles the admission process of all engineering colleges in Delhi.
