Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed course of Andhra University shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Should have B.Ed. qualification with 50% marks from a recognized university.
- 4 years Integrated Teacher Education Degree Programme

M.Ed. is an education-related course offered at a higher level in Andhra University. It is offered for a duration of 2 years which is divided into 4 semesters.
- The curriculum of the Andhra University M.Ed program has core courses, internships, Academic Writing, Dissertation.

- Duration: Candidate can complete Andhra University M.Ed program in two years. The maximum duration can extend up to 4 years.
- Course Schedule: Each semester of the Andhra University M.Ed program comprise a minimum of 16 weeks; a minimum of 32 or 64 hours
- Examination: Every Semester’s internal and end-semester exam will be conducted in the English language only.
- Attendance: A candidate’s attendance should be 90% in the fieldwork or practicum, while 80% attendance is required in the teaching instructional period.
