CNLU Patna Scholarship

The Chanakya National Law University joins with the Bihar government to provide scholarships to students to help improve in their teaching path with less economic limitations. The government of Bihar has scholarships for the Reservation category, Economically Weaker section, students. The following facilities cater both students and faculties at Chanakya National Law University-

  • Library: The university’s library is situated on the ground floor of the three-storeyed building ‘Nishant Nilayam’. It has a collection of more than 14000 books and subscribes to more than 23 Indian and foreign journals. The library is sprawling, spacious, air-conditioned, equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD- ROMs, online databases, books, e-journals, reports, thesis etc. 
  • Moot Court: CNLU conducts simulated court proceedings through moot courts for students. It is an extracurricular activity involving drafting memorials or memoranda and participating in oral argument.
  • Academic and Debating Committee (ADC): The committee inculcates and promotes a healthy and competitive atmosphere for Debating and other academic activities. The ADC has organized various successful events in the past. 
  • Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL) - This centre is focused to research Corporate, Insolvency and allied Laws. It conducts various academic-oriented programs to provide training and development needs of the officials of the legal, regulatory agencies associated with the implementation of Corporate and Competition Laws including its rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Sports: The university has sports facilities for volleyball, basketball, soccer, badminton, table tennis and cricket are available on the campus.
  • CNLU Legal Aid Society: The university has a legal society where students help economically weaker sections aiding them with legal help and advice. The legal aid society also organizes events to sensitize people regarding their rights and duties. 
  • Hostel: Separate accommodation facilities for boys and girls are available within the campus. Both boys and girls hostels have wireless internet access, biometric attendance system, warm water geyser, safe drinking water through RO and water cooler, gymnasium inside hostels and television with subscribed channels in the dining hall. 
  • Cafeteria: Being a residential campus, all the food requirements of students are well taken care of by the University. A canteen is also available in the Campus serving snacks, tea, coffee, stationery, etc.

Ans. Chanakya National Law University is located at Nyaya Nagar in Patna. The university is 7.8 km away from the airport, it will take 20 – 30 minutes to reach the college by road, and it is 3.3 km away from Patna Junction Station, it will take around 15 minutes to reach the college.
