Patna University (PU) M.Sc. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc. course offered at Patna University (PU) shall fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must have a Bachelor’ degree in the relevant subject preferably a B.A. or B. Sc. degree with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
  • Must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in a B.A. or B.Sc. Hons sub/Major sub/Core course.
  • For Admission to M.Sc. Botany: B.Sc. /B.Tech in Bio-tech / Environmental Science / Microbiology / Life Sc./ Bio-Chemistry
  • For Admission to M.Sc. Physics: B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc. Hons. In Maths, Chemistry, Zoology, Statistics, Computer Science with Physics as a mandatory subject.
