Candidates must have passed either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks.

GGU B.Ed Admission Criteria 

Applicants are selected on the basis of scores obtained in the Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test (VET) followed by counseling. 

The entrance test fee is INR 400 for General Category and INR 200/- for SC/ ST /PWD candidates. The entrance test fee should be paid at the time of submission of the application form. 

How to Apply?

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of GGU for registration.
  • Click on Online Registration Form/New Registration.
  • Fill up the required information and take a printout challan generated online and deposit the fee in any branch of the State Bank of India.
  • After depositing the fee visit the official website again to fill in the personal information.
  • After successful submission of the form, take a printout and retain it for future purposes.

GGU B.Ed VET: Entrance Exam Pattern 

  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours/120 minutes with 100 MCQs.
  •  30 MCQs will be based on teaching aptitude, reasoning, and current educational scenario.
  • 70 MCQ will be based on General Awareness, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Comprehension and subject awareness of the subjects including basic knowledge of plants and animals, environment and its pollution, common diseases, population explosion, production of food & raw material, human body, health, climate & weather, natural resources and elementary knowledge of ancient Indian History, culture, philosophy, freedom struggle.

B.Ed. Special Education (Hearing Impaired, Learning Disability) VET

  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours/120 minutes with 100 MCQs.
  • 40 MCQs will be given from the following areas: (i) Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Awareness on special Education in the present scenario, Awareness of current Educational Scenario. 
  • There will be 60 MCQs requiring basic conceptual understanding up to school level, regarding the following areas: Human Interaction and thinking (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Culture), Natural Phenomena (Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics), Social Phenomena (History, Geography, Politics, Economics, Psychology), General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

GGU B.Ed Course Details

  • The students need to have 75% attendance compulsory in each subject.
  • A fine number of students have got through the CTET, NET, and SLET in the foregone sessions.
