What students say about Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU]

Likes

  • If you're college is in city side, like mine that's the best part, you can go out and explore alot.
  • For me the best person till now is Dr Deepak Tripathi sir, who is our physics teacher.
  • The sports faculty also is wonderful that is being provided in the college
  • Campus life was the best with best of the labs and tecajers fest etc
  • The annual fest Anugoonj the best part of college life that is fest
  • Best lab tools provided to students and campus has wifi connection
  • Locality of our college is best surrounded by trees from 3 sodes

Dislike

  • Irrelevant assignments were given by teachers, which all of us just copied from Google and submitted.
  • Recently, a few teachers have taken the initiative to establish bonds between companies and our campus, thereby providing in-campus internships.
  • The placement status is very poor, with a very bad experience. Not more than 3-4 companies come for the placement. The companies include e-value serve, Accenture, and TCS. The packages offered are between 3-4 lakh per annum.
  • I have not opted for any scholarship or educational loan, and I assume there are no scholarships in this college since students are selected based on their ranking.
  • The campus is bad in my college due to its location and lack of space.
  • This college has the same too. There are teachers and students that are a positive side, but there are placement and sometimes the photocopy machine breaks, which adds to the bad side of the college.

Placement Experience:

There are not that many placements. But after doing Mba you can get a good placement. But in this course, they will get you ready for every practical situation My plans after getting a degree are to do MBA in marketing from him and get some more practical knowledge.

Remarks:

The admission process was just simple You have to visit the college and make two sets of your documents and give them If any of your documents is missing they will give time to bring them or make them (like a gap year certificate). The crowd is good if you want to study and make good friends then this college is best for you. It doesn't have a big campus but they have good teachers and good faculties.

Placement Experience:

Students from 3rd year are eligible for placements in our college. Various companies visited the college this year and offers are still being made, so I cannot commit anything as if now. Placements also depend on their abilities.

Remarks:

You need to have a minimum of 60% in CBSE and then you need to appear for the IPU CET. The forms are available on the IPU website. One can also avail of admission through management quota. The faculty provide you with the best of their knowledge and supports you in the best possible way. The only improvement I can ask for is some good contractual exposure.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college was active and participative. They offered various reputed companies to be a part of. 60% of students got jobs via our college placement. My goal was to do a decent job and pursue MBA afterward.

Remarks:

The admission process was smoothly carried forward by the faculty. The eligibility is the same as with 50% marks in secondary education. no details of reservation benefits. no improvement suggestions, everything was great, and the faculty and the management are very professional.

Placement Experience:

Placements in these colleges start after 4 semesters or 2 years. Companies shortlist students on a different basis. Different packages and startups there are different companies like the decathlon, Mahindra, Airtel,

Remarks:

You should be eligible after you give IP CET from that basis on your rank college premises decides. There will be 3 rounds based on your rank there will be counselling in the main GGSIPU site as the college is affiliated with GGSIPU.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement was not much active because I was a student at the time of Covid-19. I didn't hold any placement while graduation. But the campus placement starts at the start of the 4th Semester.

Remarks:

There is a general entrance exam for all the colleges affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) called as CET (Common Entrance Test). When you get the required rank in CET, you may get the choice of colleges according to your rank. The application form will get from the official website of GGSIPU which is ipu.ac.in or by a visit to the main campus of GGSIPU.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. The highest package offered is Rs.8 lakh per annum The lowest package offered is Rs.3 lakh per annum The average package is Rs.4.5 lakh per annum Around 70% of Students get placements. I want to get placed in a well-reputed company or not so then I wanna do an MBA.

Remarks:

Provide all the correct information about the fee structure, faculty, and infrastructure of the college. Improve the placement cell so that information about the companies can reach on time. Improve the class Size as there are more students and fewer seats in the classroom.
