- Each course and curriculum was excellent. Each and every staff member is quite helpful. Subjective support was awesome.
- Stipend is offered at all places, as we were taught in a very good environment; hence, we reached our destination.
- Many good profile companies visited at the time of placement, such as Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Capgemini, Mahindra, and many more.
- There is a club for placement in DME called the Placement Cell, which aims at providing you with the best placement, keeping in mind the candidates interests and abilities.
- The infrastructure, faculty, college, crowd, staff, library, and classrooms, all things were good and at their best.
- The hostel facility is excellent here. We have 2 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels.
- The college is very good, and I am very happy that I have taken admission in this college.
Dislike
- Irrelevant assignments were given by teachers, which all of us just copied from Google and submitted.
- Recently, a few teachers have taken the initiative to establish bonds between companies and our campus, thereby providing in-campus internships.
- The placement status is very poor, with a very bad experience. Not more than 3-4 companies come for the placement. The companies include e-value serve, Accenture, and TCS. The packages offered are between 3-4 lakh per annum.
- I have not opted for any scholarship or educational loan, and I assume there are no scholarships in this college since students are selected based on their ranking.
- The campus is bad in my college due to its location and lack of space.
- This college has the same too. There are teachers and students that are a positive side, but there are placement and sometimes the photocopy machine breaks, which adds to the bad side of the college.

There are various placement companies which visit our campus and provide a huge packages from various companies More than 50 percentage of students are placed each year from our college in the BCA department
Remarks:
To get admission to JIMS college which is situated in sector 5 Rohini all students have to appear for GGSIPU ENTRANCE which is called IPUCET then after giving the exams we get a CML list which shows your rank and then from there we have to participate in the round which is conducted by GGSIPU itself there will be 3 rounds which are round 1, round 2, round 3 and after that if any seat is left then sliding round is conducted to fill the vacant seat after that there will be more 2 rounds which are called spot round after that we are allotted our final seat in the college generally we need high rank to get admission in colleges like JIMS Rohini
Placement Experience:
My course was for 3 years and from the 5th sem, you generally get companies to apply for. The placement drive is quite good and you'll get too many opportunities to sit in placement also the placement coordinator is very supportive and will push you for trying some companies for placement. But the package offered by many companies are quite low and sometimes you also get companies like BPO. The average package ranges from 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA and the highest is 4-4.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS and some startups visited the college. To sit in the placement you must not get back in any subject. I am pursuing MCA now.
Remarks:
I applied for CET (common entrance test) and according to the scores in CET I got a list of colleges I can take and that's how I got into this college. You can find the CET link year on the official website of GGSIPU. I am form the general category so there was no reservation for me but you can also get admission through management quota if your scores are not good enough for a particular college. The admission process must be hazel free and parents and students should be informed at ones only about the details like fees and documents required for taking admission.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose these course because I want to go in tech field. The faculty is very good in this college. Method of the teaching from teacher is very good and easy to understand. In each semester there are two internals are moderate to difficult level depending upon the subject and if you study properly then you can easily pass all those exams.
Remarks:
The eligibility criteria for this college is a minimum of 50% in the 12th board. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Management and information technology is affiliated with GGSIPU. GGSIPU Conduct IPU CET entrance exam for admission. The fee for the examination is 1000 rupees and mainly application forms were released in March-April. Reservation category candidates have some benefits to getting easily enrolled. In my opinion admission process is quite slow compared to other colleges and universities. They have to improve the admission process.
Placement Experience:
I am in 2nd year and some internships are coming by the college but for campus placement, a BCA student is eligible in their last year of college. I have heard that Companies like De Shaw, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, etc had come to campus but they take only a few students. The highest package as I have heard is about 17.5 lacks and the average package of 6 lakh is there I think. The percentage should be above 75 to sit on campus placement. My plans after my degree are to look for a good job and if not then do my master's.
Remarks:
The admission process was through an entrance exam conducted by GGSIPU. You can check the university's website for the application form, and the application fee was 1000 Rs, and application dates can also vary so you should check the university's website. Benefits of reservation such as SC/ST can be availed but for OBC I don't think they can avail much. The admission process was right for me so I don't want any improvement.
Placement Experience:
Placements is good as almost all the student gets placement offer from great tech companies (like tcl, Wipro, sap, etc.) some new startup with a good offer, some financial institute, etc. Multiple companies that come in BCA are mass recruiters. Students are eligible for placement in the last year of their course.
Remarks:
You need to give entrance to IPU CET BCA and according to your score, you can select the eligible college. You have to pay a lump-sum of 40000 during the booking of a seat and this amount is adjusted with the first year of the fee.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course as the demand for computer-related fields is growing in today's time and it will give a boost to student's career. The faculty of this college is highly educated (Phd degree) and there is 1 faculty on 10 students the ratio is good and their teaching method is very simple and easy to understand. Midterms and end terms were on time as they are mentioned in the academic calendar and if you study for your exams it won't seem difficult.
Remarks:
Eligibility is 50%+ in 10+2 (must have computer science/maths as your subject) and you have to pass the CET exam. Application form on ggsipu.com, application fees are 1000 dates are near end of August The admission process is good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I like computers and coding The facility is also good and the students are 60 per class. The facility has master's degrees in their subject and some are PhD. The college gives an internal examination.
Remarks:
First, you give the IPU entrance exam then wait for the results and then apply for counselling and fill out your college. Go to the website for an application form. The university provides reservation benefits to students.
Placement Experience:
The placements in this college are average. Around 50% of students get placed in reputed companies. The highest salary package offered is Rs. 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is Rs 2 LPA.

Firstly I filled out the application form on the website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Then I gave the entrance exam IPU CET. The exam was a Computer Based Test. Then after some days, it released the result/ranks of every student. Then the counselling process started. The reservation benefits are only provided to SC/ST students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had taken this course to pursue my career in IT field. As after BCA many fields are open for us to go. Like Software Developer, Software Engineer, UIUX Designer, etc. According to me faculty : student ratio was not good enough, in my college same teacher with less subject knowledge was forced to teach the particular subject. Atleast 2 teachers with subject knowledge for every single subject we are studying should be there. Exams were taken on time and difficulty level is normal. One more problem with IP University is last moment notification thing. IP University uploads datesheets just 10-12 days before the final exam because of this student faces stress as they are not able to manage there time as how to study according to the datesheet.
Remarks:
So take admission in Bachelor of Computer Application Course in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprashth University you have to first clear a Computer Based Test for which you will be given admit cards and Test Center will be designated to you before hand. CET notices can be seen at the official website of GGSIPU University www.ipu.ac.in . Application Fee is Rs 1500, fee is to be paid in Online mode. You should be passed 12th class with 55 percent marks. There is a seperate website for giving preference for the college for admission. Admission takes place after the result on the basis of your marks Ranks is alloted to you. More the rank best college you will get in IP university.
Placement Experience:
our college provides placement in the fifth and sixth semesters with various companies like Wipro tcs and etc these companies offer a high package of 8.46 lakh PA. our college has a 93% placement record. my plans are to apply for tech companies.
Remarks:
the admission process was smooth and easy as we had to give a common entrance exam and the information about the exam was provided on the IPU website including the result and fee forms. the admission process is easy the only thing that can help students is telling them the difference between float and freeze as many students tend to miss out on many opportunities due to this option.

Very good infrastructure and 100 per cent placement guarantee. The professors were skilled and knowledgeable. The most of professors are phds . Everything is ok but I am disappointed by only one thing the campus is not large and I also don't expect the College canteen like this

I am a diploma student so I took admission through the lateral entry scheme. The admission process is very simple if you want to take admission in b.Tech you have to take CET (common entrance test) for lateral entry. In the lateral entry, you can take admission directly in 2nd year You can find the application for lateral entry on the website of IP university.

When I fill out an admission form, IP University has some eligibility criteria in which math is compulsory and written test is compulsory. So after clearing the written test there is a personnel interview. And after all this according to individual rank colleges are allowed. I take admitted to ip University because after du at Delhi ip University degree is taken into consideration for jobs other than at University.
