Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), located at Sirsa, Haryana, was established by the State Legislature act, in the year 2003. The university is recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission), and has 60 colleges under it, in the state of Haryana. It has been accredited by NAAC, and offers various courses under UG and PG level, with multiple specializations. The basic admission to all the UG and PG courses are based on merit. However, candidates applying for the M.Tech. course needs to clear the GATE and the ones Applying for MBA must clear CMAT.

CDLU Sirsa Admission

Admission to the various courses offered by the university is not only based on merit but also on the marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination. It offers a number of courses under the UG and PG levels.

For the UG courses, the minimum qualification required is a 10+2 pass along with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Likewise, for M.Tech. program, needs to clear the GATE entrance examination with good ranking, in order to be eligible for the course, for the MBA program, the marks obtained in the CMAT examination is mandatory in order to get into the admission procedure. For all the PG courses, the candidates applying must hold a Bachelor’s Degree.

Application Procedure:

Candidates applying online must visit the official website of the university to download the application form and fill it with the required details.
Candidates applying offline must visit the university directly to collect the application form.
Candidates are required to fill up the application form with the following details- 10+2 marksheet, 10+2 pass certificate, ID/address proof, Self-attested copy of UG Degree, and Passport size photographs.
The application fee to all the courses offered by the university is INR 200.

Ans. Yes, CDLU has a grievance redressal cell for acknowledging the concerns of the students. The cell includes the chairperson, professor and student representative. The cell assures that all the Complaints will be acknowledged and possible solutions will be provided to the students for the complete disposal of the problems.

Ans. Yes, CDLU provides accommodation facilities of hostels to both boys and girls. There are 2 hostels for boys and 3 for girls. There is still one more hostel for the boys which is under construction. The hostels are equipped with all the required facilities which make them suitable and comfortable for living.

Admission:

Admission to this college depends on the percentage in 12th. There is a very good study environment here. Very nice building. Classes for all subjects like Science, Arts, Commerce, etc. are held here. A practical lab is also available for all the courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from the science side so I have taken admission to BSc Hons. The faculty is very experienced in these courses. His teaching skills are very good There is one faculty per hundred students. Exam held per year.

Campus life

The admission form is located on the college website. The admission process is very simple and basic any student after completing the 12th can apply for admission. On my campus, there is a reservation for UP students. An improvement that I want to be added is removing the reservation for UP students.

On my campus, they conduct exams at the end of every month. I choose this course because I learn to know more about artificial and machine learning my campus the faculty members are very trained and they know how to manage students they are very polite and humble in nature.
