What students say about Kerala University - [KU]

Likes

  • Of course, they are good enough. The faculties were just amazing because the way they teach is fabulous. We understand everything.
  • During these internships, students have the opportunity to use skills learned during the Fresh Future Job Readiness sessions, and they receive on-the-job training and feedback from their employers.
  • I did not get the chance to learn more about the opportunities and placements of the university.
  • Many scholarships are provided by the government and the university to promote students.
  • The college has a very good infrastructure, including well-maintained classrooms, washrooms, offices, canteen, and library.
  • As mentioned earlier, there are separate hostels for men, women, and researchers. The buildings and rooms are satisfying and great.
  • I need to build up some space. Upgrade the college infrastructure for a better teacher-student relationship and more friendly students. Our college provides the best thing it can give to us, and I am proud to be a part of it.

Dislike

  • Students are left to fend for themselves in search of jobs, especially during the pandemic when jobs are hard to come by.
  • College management will always be considered as bad in any students view, as they wont provide funds as needed and would object to most of our needs and ideas. However, overall, management is not so bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because now the world is fully digital and there is a large need and scope for the IT sector. The faculty in the University for the BCA course is better compared to other courses and the student ratio is very low compared to other courses. Most of the faculties are PG holders and their teaching methods involve digital presentation and also providing practical labs. The entire course is divided into 6 semesters and the exams are conducted at the end of each semester the results are published within 3-5 months of the exams. The difficulty level of passing this course is very low because 30% is the cutoff mark

Remarks:

The name of the course in BCA - is Bachelor Of Computer Applications, It is one of the new generation and professional courses. The basic eligibility of this course is plus two (any stream can apply to the course because you will study from the basics). To get a seat first you should register for the UG admission process for the BCA on the website of The University Of Kerala at the sheduled time period. Register in the process and wait for the allotment process after the payment. After the selection process, the university will publish the allotment in various phases( trial, first, second). There is reservation based on caste.
