Kerala University Ranking 2022 is rolled out by national and global rating agencies such as NIRF, Outlook ICARE, QS Ranking, etc. At the national level, Kerala University is ranked as the 49th best university among top government and private universities by the QS Ranking 2022. Kerala University has also received the 40th rank among the top 100 universities by the recently released NIRF Ranking 2022.

The University of Kerala (UoK), formerly the University of Travancore, is categorized under the top 50 affiliating universities located in the south Indian state of Kerala, India. Kerala University is one of the finest universities that has always grabbed a spot in the NIRF ranking owing to its academic excellence & performance. The university ranks at the 52nd spot among the top universities in the overall category as per the NIRF 2022 Ranking data. Life at GECB

Internships Opportunities:

The companies that seek interns vary for each branch. For the IT department, the companies that mainly seek interns are from TechnoPark such as QBurst, Carestack, IBS, etc. There are also other companies that offer internships in Kochi and Bangalore. During the internship, the interns are allowed to work on projects where they can build experience and also adapt to the work environment. The companies also offer a stipend of around 10,000 to 15,000 per month.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start at the end of the third year for each branch and throughout the final year, various companies arrive for interviews. The major companies which seek freshers from our college are IBM, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, IBS, QBurst, etc. The average package offered is around 6 to 8 LPA. Prior to these interviews, proper placement training is provided to the students where they compete against each other in various rounds such as GD, HR interview, Aptitude round, etc. The percentage of placements varies according to each branch. The IT department is the one which bags the most number of interviews where around 80% to 90% of the students are offered jobs.
