Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field obtained through the (10+2)+3 system or an equivalent qualification from the recognised University or equivalent to it.
He/She should obtained a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

The candidate has to take the MUHS CET for selection.
The medium of the test is English.
The examination consists of 50 MCQs, amounting to 100 marks.
For every correct answer, two marks will be awarded. There is no negative marking.
The duration of the examination is one hour and a half.
Tie breaker: In the event of a tie, the following procedures will be used to determine the candidate who goes ahead:
- Level 1: The candidate with more aggregate marks in HSC;
- Level 2: If still a tie, the candidate with more marks in SSC will be selected;
- Level 3: If still a tie, the candidate who is older will be preferred.
