Candidate must have Post Graduation in M.A./M.Phil with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of this University or equivalent examination of any other University.

Ph.D. Applicants who are qualified in UGC, UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET/ teacher fellowship holders are exempted from written test and interview.
