I have chosen this course because I want to become a skilled mechanical engineer and work for a reputable organization.
Internship is provided by the college, but we get the opportunity to pursue it through company visits here, as they offer internships in their organization. This is a good learning experience and also fun, with a stipend amount of around 5000.
Still, there is no placement yet, but we are hopeful that there will be a good placement.
Almost all students who passed the university exam received a good score, qualifying them for the scholarship.
Actually, this university is designed for physically handicapped students; however, as an extension, normal students can also receive an education here.
Due to the academic excellence of DSMU, a large number of outstation students wish to be part of its community.
My college is located in a good area; it is located in the capital, so everything is easily accessible, such as exams, city travels, and good government job coaching.

Dislike

The placement scenario is average here. The college claims that its placement rate is above 70%, but I dont think so. It would be around 50% only. A few companies do visit here such as Infogain, iGate, etc. The average package is around 3 LPA.
Fee policies require a 50% compulsory payment before the 1st semester. If you do not pay the fee on time, a late fee penalty will be imposed, and you will not be allowed to take the exam

Placement Experience:

Last 2 semesters of every course students are considered eligible here. Every company comes here like amazon, TCS and Flipkart etc with a package of 3 to 15 lakhs per annum. Almost 99% gets placements here but many of them drop it due to lower package.

The admission process at Dr Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University is very simple. The first step is to submit the online application. Application fees can be paid online or offline. The second step is Entrance Exam. The third step is the merit list. University prepares a merit list for the entrance exam students, which can be seen on the university website. The selected students have to go through the counselling process. The schedule will be available on the university website. Then admission after selection in counselling. The eligibility for BBA is 45% in the 12th class.
