Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as
Academic Requirement:
- BE/B.Tech. degree in Mechanical/ Production/Industrial Production/ Automobile or equivalent with a minimum of 55 percent for general category and 50 percent for SC/ST category, as well as a satisfactory score in PG admission exams offered by several state, central, and private universities.
Admission Procedure:
- Candidates who have cleared GATE or other eligibility test will be given preference for admission to the programme. Other candidates will be required to appear in the Entrance Examination conducted by Uttaranchal University.
- Admission is based on merit, computed on the basis of marks secured in JEE (Main) / All National Aptitude Tests/Qualifying Examination/Performance of candidates in personal interview.
- Out of the total intake, 40% seats are allotted to students of Uttarakhand under the State Quota and the rest are open to students from all India. In case the allotted percentage of seats of State Quota remains vacant, it will be filled by All India students.
