Arunachal University of Studies, Lohit has a distinction of being the eastern-most University of India. Formed under “The Arunachal University of Studies Act, 2012”, the University is first self-financed University of Arunachal Pradesh. The University has accreditation from the authoritative bodies of India to conduct technical, legal and special education programs as part of the curriculum.
Arunachal University of Studies offers diploma, graduate, post graduate and doctoral courses for the students. In addition to this University also provides special certification programs in different areas of study. All these courses are offered in a wide spectrum of academics which include Arts, Commerce, Management, Law, Education and Medicinal Sciences. Courses of special education for hearing and visually impaired are also part of University’s program list.

While the tenure of courses offered by University ranges from 6 months to 5 years, a single application form is required to be filled by applicants in order to take admission in University. There are four cycles in which admission is undertaken by Arunachal University of Studies. These are:
- Academic Cycle (Admission in July)
- Winter Cycle (Admission in October)
- Calendar Cycle (Admission in January)
- Summer Cycle (Admission in April)
Admission procedure for Arunachal University is followed in an offline format. Interested candidates can buy the prospectus and application form. The filled form can be submitted at the campus of University or at a centre marked by the University.
The University plans to launch the online procedure for admission of students soon. Once functional, the online procedure will enable applicants to pay for the prospectus and application form online. The applicants will soon be able to upload the required documents online as well.

Arunachal University of Studies UG Admissions 2023
Graduate courses offered by the University are most populous. There are Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs with different specializations. Additionally, students have the choice of picking some fresh and unique courses such as Bachelor of Library & Information Science.
There are few integrated courses. Faculty of Education of Arunachal University of Studies offers integrated B. Ed. which enables a student to be able to get the graduate degree as well as a Bachelor of Education degree in four years. Another salient feature is Rehabilitation and Special Education Programs of the University which has courses approved Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi.

Arunachal University of Studies Post Graduate Admissions 2023
Arunachal University of Studies offers postgraduate programs in the field of Arts, Science, Management, Law, Commerce and Education. Applicants of MBA, M.A. and M. Sc. have a range of subjects of specialization for students to choose from.
All courses except one are of the duration of four semesters. Students of Master of Library & Information Science have to spend one semester at the University.

Arunachal University of Studies Diploma Admissions 2023
Arunachal University of Studies provides diploma courses in five specializations. The courses are distributed among three departments of the University, which is referred to as Faculty. Faculty of Engineering Studies of University offers only diploma programs for the students.
Amongst its diploma courses is Diploma in Elementary Education for the professional development of primary / elementary school teachers. The program is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.
