People's University, Bhopal - Admission Details 2021

At undergraduate level, People’s University offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in various specializations such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering for a duration of four years.

Candidates seeking admission will be selected on the basis of marks scored in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. The remaining vacant seats shall be filled up on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination strictly on merit by conducting college level counseling.

Apart from Engineering courses, the university also offers Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Science (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) to the students who want to pursue their careers in the field of Medical Science.

The first and foremost thing for the candidates is to successfully complete their 10+2 level or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Then they will have to appear in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).

The university also offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Post Basic Bachelor of Science (PB.B.Sc) and Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing specializations.

At undergraduate level, People’s University offers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), B.Com (Hons). Integrated Master of Business Administration (Integrated MBA), BHMCT and BBA (HHA). Intake capacity depends upon the nature of courses opted by the candidates.

If there are any vacant seats, then those shall be filled up on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination strictly on merit by conducting college level counseling.

The university also offers UG Paramedical courses like Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT). The courses, thus offered are for a duration period of 4.5 years and three years respectively.

Candidates are selected on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. The remaining vacant seats shall be filled up on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination strictly on merit by conducting college level counseling.

The university also offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) in various specializations such as Thermal Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, Digital Communication Engineering, Construction Technology and Management and Power Electronics Engineering to the aspiring candidates who want to build their career in the field of Engineering. All the course is offered for two years.

The eligible candidates will have to appear in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and hence counseling will be followed. 

Candidates seeking admission will also be selected on the basis of marks scored in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. The remaining vacant seats shall be filled up on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination strictly on merit by conducting college level counseling.

List of Courses:

Candidates who are willing to build their career in the field of Medical Science may do so as the university is also offering superspeciality courses like DM, MS and MDS in several specializations. The courses offered are for three years each.

Those who are eligible, they will have to appear in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria will lead to the elimination of the candidates from the admission process.

At postgraduate level, the university also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Hotel Management (MHM) for a duration period of two years. The total number of seats available depends upon the nature of specializations or courses opted by the eligible candidates.

Admission in MBA is based on the basis of marks scored in CAT/ XAT/ MAT / MP MET / Other State Entrance Test/ People’s Admission Test (PAT) conducted by the  University. A merit list shall be prepared on the basis of the test cleared and Personal Interview.

Candidates seeking admission in Master of Hotel Management (MHM) need to appear in Common Entrance Test conducted by the university.

At postgraduate level, the university also offers PG Paramedical course like Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) to the candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Physiotherapy. The course is offered for two years.

Candidates seeking admission in M.Sc are hereby informed that selection is done strictly on merit basis. However, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria.

At research level, the university offers Ph.D courses in various specializations such as Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Management, Nursing and Pharmacy. Interested candidates who are eligible may apply to these courses.

Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of performance in personal interview conducted by the university. Failing to meet the eligibility criteria may lead to the elimination of the candidates from the admission process.
