BCom is the best option for students who want to pursue a career in commerce, accounting, finance, banking, and insurance.
It was an overall very good experience for me. There is no internship available within the college.
The placements in our college are the best because our college received a credit of 4.75 from NAAC.
To be very honest, the fee structure is a bit high, which middle-class students cannot afford.
We had a good sports coach, and every student was encouraged to be a part of the college sports team.
No, I do not opt for hostel facilities on campus, but the hostel facilities are very good.
Not everything is perfect in the college, but they do provide very good facilities according to the admission criteria. Teaching facilities, student facilities, and everything else are very perfect on the college campus.

Dislike

Im not sure about it as of now, as I havent come across any internships related to college. Maybe there are internships related to college that Im not aware of.
Placements and job opportunities are very few in our college, located in Darjeeling, West Bengal.
There is no campus life, I feel. The infrastructure is literally too bad because it is an old college.
Im staying in my house, so I dont know about hostels. My friends are staying in a hostel, and they are having a bad experience with food. Mainly, the quality of the food is very bad, and they are experiencing some health issues.
Overall, its a bad college, I feel. Its because of the high population over there, and there are no chances of getting selected in an event. I feel this is unfair for everyones participation.

Placement Experience:

They are excellent placement in our college, the students are eligible from the final year of their courses to attend their interview and get placed in the companies. The companies like EY, data and many more visit our college for campus placements. 8in10 students are placed in campus placement. The highest package received is 400000 pa and the average is 100000pa. After completing of the degree in this college and will try hard and get selected for our college campus placement. This is one of the most important reasons why my parents have admitted me to this college as I belonged to a lower-middle-class family, if I get placed in our college itself it will be useful for me as well as my parents. So no need to worry about placements in our college

Remarks:

This college, now it is upgraded to a university recently. The application forms will be available on the college website (sjc.ac.com). The application form fees depend on the courses we opt for. 500 for UG courses and 700 for the PG courses. The admission process is done perfectly by the faculty of our college and there is no need to do any improvement

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year. The companies that visit are icici bank, hdfc bank, Deloitte, IBM, dell, google, jp morgan, and many more. The packages vary from 50k - 1l according to company and postings. About 70% get placed.

Remarks:

I had two online interviews. One was questioned by the teacher and the second by hod. Questioning is based on the applied course and complexity varies accordingly. For regular courses, it is simple and it is difficult for special courses.
