- The faculty is excellent, and if you seek a marketing perspective, then this will be one of the top choices available within the percentile range of 85 to 92.
- Internships here are not that good. While there are some good companies offering attractive roles, the majority do not offer desirable roles or have reputable brands.
- Almost all students, except 3-5, got placements, and the median package is also very good, around 15lpa.
- Summer internship programs are very good; 100% of the students obtained an SIP in this session.
- Extracurricular activities and sports also happen on campus. There are many clubs and committees run by the student body itself.
- The hostel at the Jallochak campus isnt good, but the hostel at the canal road campus is the best.
- It is the youngest of the IIMs established in 2016, but it has still managed to be one of the best in its league.
Dislike
- Some of the faculty members of IIM Jammu are inexperienced in teaching, which prevents them from delivering the content properly.
- The fee structure is quite high and no scholarship is provided if you are not in the reserved category.
- The campus life for me was very poor. The new Jagti campus is still under construction, and the Jhallo Chak campus is awful and lacks basic infrastructure.
- In each room, there were 4-5 girls with very little space for our clothes and books
