Placement Experience:

The campus placements are available for both Summer Internships and Final placements, the process for the summer internships starts from the first Trim/Semester itself. The college assists you with the placements well. the average final placements were 12,45,000.

Remarks:

At first, we had to apply for the college by filling up their form, they take admissions from CAT-83 percentile, NMAT-222, XAT-70 percentile, GMAT-500 and CMAT. you can find the admissions form on K.J.SIM's official website. After the results for all the exams are out the cut-offs are declared by 1st week of Feb and call letters are floated, students receiving offer letters go through PI and case study evalution, for me it was online. after the process, the shortlisted candidates are sent the offer letters

Placement Experience:

Yes, the college provides placement support with an average package of 12.5 lakhs. The college also provides internship support to 1st-year students. The process starts from the month of Augusta and goes until the month of March.

Remarks:

I got admitted through NMAT score. NMAT is an adaptive exam that can be taken from a center as well as from home if you meet the requirements. The cutoff for the exam was 220 in the year 2022. NMAT Can be taken up to 3 times in a year's window but KJ Somaiya only accepts the scores for the first attempt scores. the exam fees are about 3000 and around 1500 for re-attempting.

Placement Experience:

Placement season begins in the month of August and ends in the month of March and various range of companies visit the campus. Every field company is called on campus and the placements are decent in the college.

Remarks:

Smooth, they were three rounds, and all major entrances were covered. This gave the better opportunity to be a part of the college. I was in constant touch with the admissions team at KJSIM for the entire process and it ran smoothly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good for finance students as big companies come early to campus. Students become eligible to sit for placements from the second year itself post completing their summer internship. There is a roll-on process so companies keep coming. The big 4 arrive early on campus.

Remarks:

The eligibility was based on the cut-off released by the college. On the website of the college, an admission form was available and the application fee was 3000. I belong to the general category, hence didn't avail of any reservation. There was a shortlist released, followed by a Case study round and a PI round.

Placement Experience:

Placements are great, getting better and better year after year. All big companies come to our campus for multiple roles in various specializations. The average package is also increasing at a very good rate.

Remarks:

The admission process is streamlined, I took CAT, CMAT, and a few other exams and also registered on the college website. There I uploaded the scores once I got them. They give out a shortlist stating I'm eligible for CA/PI. On the day of CA/PI zoom link was provided and both things happen. After a while, I got my results over the mail.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA is the most practical finance course I know to pursue with a good scope so I decided to go for it. It has various case studies and learnings of the industry. The faculties are good as well, they have good knowledge about the subject they are teaching

Remarks:

It was a smooth admission process. Took my NMAT scores into consideration with the registration fees included in the exam fees. Haven't availed of any benefits but there is Gujarati Kota/Reservation. No improvements are required.

Placement Experience:

We have a placement committee dedicated to the purpose of placement in our college. The student becomes eligible to sit for an internship by September of the year they join the college. There are a number of companies who visit our campus including the big 4 and other leading brands of the industry. In marketing highest package for an internship is 80K and for finals, it is around 20L. For finance highest package for an internship is 80K and for final placement it is 25L. 98% of students get on-campus placement. My plan after getting this degree is to grab a job from an on-campus placement drive.

Remarks:

The admission process starts with filling out the application form for the particular exam that you are planning to give. There are various exams conducted to get admission to a business school like CAT, NMAT, GMAT, or CMAT. Registrations for various exams start around October and application forms can be easily found on google. Anyone who has an undergraduate degree or is in the final year of their undergraduate is eligible to apply for an MBA course. The application fee on average for an exam is 2000 rupees.

Placement Experience:

There are a total of 6 trimesters in MBA, 3 in the first year and the remaining 3 in the second trimester. A student becomes eligible for college placements in the 4th trim, which is the beginning of the second year. Numerous companies visit the campus and there is 100% placement provided by the college. The highest packages go above 20 lakhs and the lowest around 8-9 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are to get into the corporate world and climb the corporate ladder.

Remarks:

I gave CAT, NMAT, and XAT exams, and their scores were considered by KJ SIM, the eligibility criteria was to get the minimum marks required as the cut-off marks were set. Also, had to give an online case study presentation and PI, to get into KJSIM. Application forms are available on the website of the college. I did not avail of any reservation. The admission process is pretty smooth, so no changes.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and increasing significantly. There are some regular visitors that keep on visiting every year. 171 recruiters have visited this year till now. Where the average salary is 12.23 lpa, and the highest package is 22.50 lpa. The 97% batch is placed so far. I plan to take placements from the college and build on that. The placements for the internship start during the month of September.

Remarks:

The college accepts the score of different examinations- NMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. I got admitted through NMAT. The process started with releasing the shortlist for Personal Interview and Case Analysis. The process was facilitated by students as well as faculty. The Personal Interview was of approximately 20-30 mins long ranging from questions from current affairs and personal prior experiences. Then the Case Analysis was facilitated by 2 faculties. Where a case was given with a question at the end. I had to share my viewpoints on the same. Later there was cross-questioning and a fruitful discussion
