Government Medical College, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir is one of the oldest medical colleges of north India. This is the first medical college in Jammu and Kashmir. The institution started offering UG courses in pre-Clinical subjects from 1961 and from 1968, it started offering PG courses. Presently, it offers around 42 courses like MBBS, PG Diploma, MD and MS (Surgery). GMC Srinagar Admission
The admission is conducted through NEET UG and NEET PG entrance exams. Candidates looking for a UG medical course must have secured a minimum of 60% (for general category) marks in 12th with science as the mainstream subject.
