Likes

Faculty members are the best; however, they are not government teachers, but they can teach best.
The best part is companies like Amazon, Google, Facebook, Oracle, etc. also come for internships and placements.
Placement was one of the best things about my college and the main reason why I chose this college for my engineering.
Students who are good in their field are given scholarships so that they can continue with it.
Campus life is awesome. You spend the best four years of your life on this campus. There is ample time for extracurricular activities. There are different clubs available, including Robotics, Technical, Cultural, OSS, Maths, Quiz, Music, and Debate.
The hostels, though they could benefit from some renovation, are a wonderful place for accommodation and they undergo changes every year.
A very good college for computer science and information technology, but for electronics and Telecommunication, this college would not be the best choice with respect to placements.

Dislike

There are just a few companies coming for the internship, including Microsoft IT, Calsoft Inc, Persistence, Commvault, Josh Softwares, and DRDO. There are students who got internships after applying outside.
They are not working properly, and I think the maintenance is not good. I believe it is bad for the students.
There are many ridiculous rules in this hostel that make it sickening for us to uphold.
Some management rules in our college are very strict, as it is an army wards college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. Companies that visited the campus are amazon, deutish bank, Cred, ZS, and Credit Suisse. The highest package is 52 lakhs and the average placement is 14.6 lakhs. About 89% of candidates till now are placed.

Remarks:

Admission was based on the percentile of jee mains and the cutoff for computer science is around the 94 percentile. The admission form and fee structure are available on the college website. Only army wards are allowed and reservations for students of J&K. The admission process should be completely based on jee mains percentile and no reservation should be given.

AIT at a glance.

Placement Experience:

The placement is the best thing that this college got. Every year more than 90% of the students get placed at an average CTC of 14 lakhs. Many companies which are based in Pune and Bangalore come to our college for placements. As of now the highest package of our college is 1 crore 14 lakhs.

Remarks:

First, you need to appear for JEE mains and fill out a form for AIT Pune separately. This form is available 2-3 months prior to JEE Mains. No reservations are available for admission to AIT. However, Jammu residents are considered for reservation benefits. Overall the admission process is smooth.

Placement Experience:

For campus placements, we are eligible from the 7th semester, for placements you should have no backlogs. Companies like TCS, oracle, cred, Deutsche bank, zs associates Accenture sclumbereg, and many more they can also be found on the AIT placement website. The highest is 1.14 cr amazon Dublin, the average is 12lpa, and almost 90% get placed. I want to get placed in a good company with a package of 20-25lpa

Remarks:

To be eligible for admission, your parents must have served in the Indian army for 10 or more years. Application forms are available on the official website of the college, all the details are available there. No reservation will can be availed on the basis of caste, gallantry awards reservation is available. The admission process is smooth.
