What students say about College of Engineering Bhubaneswar - [COEB]

Likes

  • Teachers here are quite helpful to every student and also highly qualified in every section or department of the branch.
  • I did not receive any stipend during my college period, but my internship experience at my college was very good, and we learned lots of things from it.
  • Good in placement for non-course fields, for core fields it is okay. Infosys comes for placement every year.
  • The fee structure here is also very nice. The course fee is 240000, which is affordable.
  • The college has a great garden in the front, making the environment very comfortable for students to study.
  • The hostel has attached bathrooms and a good environment. Day by day, many new improvements are taking place. In the hostel, free Wi-Fi facilities are helpful for students.
  • I came to know about this college while surfing the internet, where I found that this college best suited my requirements at that time, and the reviews were also good.

Dislike

  • That was the poorest part of our college; very few companies came to the college.
  • Ragging on campus is there. Extracurricular activities, labs, and the sports department were pathetic and funded by students only.
  • The hostel was the worst. The food was the worst. The infrastructure was also not good and unhygienic. They do not clean the premises. Many times, we find some insects in our food, and they also do not provide the right quantity of food to us.
  • The college doesnt have a big field. For tournaments like cricket, we have to move to some other ground to play. Canteen facilities must also be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to become an electrical engineer. It's my passion to be an electrician. I love to repair electrical appliances. So I choose it, the student ratio was something around 200. Here qualifications of teachers were high, they were very helpful to their students.

Remarks:

Yes, I gave an entrance exam to get admission to the college. Eligibility for the course is 12 passes and diploma entry. Application forms were available on the college website and the college campus. Not everything is fine in the admission section.
