I chose this course because it has good placement and offers a good package in our college. It is also the preferred course for many, with good marks. Therefore, I chose CSE as my course.
Internships will be offered in the 7th semester of college, which will be very useful for gaining knowledge.
The placement rate of our college is very impressive, with almost 50-60 companies visiting every year and a recurring rate of 90-95% for students from our campus.
The hostel fee is 1.81 lakhs, approximately 2 lakhs. The campus recruitment is excellent and ensures seamless placement for all eligible students without any issues.
Labs are maintained really well with excellent lab faculty, and the instruments are also of high quality.
The rooms are very nice and have accommodation for 3 students per room with attached toilets.
Our college has a well-managed system and enjoys a very good reputation in Karnataka. It is also ranked as the 5th top college in our state.

Dislike

The VTUs timetable is structured all around the year in a way that doesnt give students sufficient time to indulge in various other opportunities and internships.
Sometimes, these students dont even need to pay any fees, while others pay as little as 20000 per annum.
The gate for girls closes at 8 pm, and for boys at 9 pm. The timing should be increased as it is difficult for students who are studying in coaching institutes or working in internships far away to come to college at that time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this course has not much different from computer science and engineering and it has additional courses for design. The faculty is well-educated and most of the professors are with PhD degrees. The exams are conducted every week and the difficulty level is moderate
