- My course is civil engineering, and it is a great course both in practical and theoretical life.
- There are many factors that companies take into account when considering you as an intern, but the biggest one by far will be your ability to apply the skills you learn in the classroom to solve real-world problems.
- The students were very bright, so there was a healthy competition amongst us, which gave us a good understanding of competition.
- Many scholarships and loan facilities are offered by Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering that I have known of or availed.
- Extracurricular activities are conducted by the college every year. Every semester, the lab facilities are very good for every department. Sports are also conducted every year.
- The college hostel is very nice, and the infrastructure and facilities provided by the hostel are excellent.
- The campus, the faculty, and all the non-teaching staff are wonderful and helpful in nature.
Dislike
- The staff here took care to ensure that each student gets ample exposure to the course.
- Few companies came for internships, and they only selected students from specific branches. However, during our time, there were no internships available for us, and the stipend offered varied depending on the company.
- Only 3 companies visit our college each year, and they only recruit a total of 3 students.
- Talking about the food quality, I asked my friend and they replied that the food quality is bad compared to the hostel rate.
- The only negative point of this college is that it is small in terms of area.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from the third year. Companies - cognizant, Capgemini, Reliance jio, IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys. Offers made where 996 of the total students. The highest package was 41 LPA and the average package was around 5 LPA. 86% of students got placement. I also wanna get a placement.
Remarks:
12 passed with min 50 mark in PCM. Cet Counseling with cet or Jee marks. The application link is also available which is mhtcet2023.mahacetorg. Application fees for the exam are 800rs. Application fees during counseling are 1000rs. The application date is not known yet but probably may be June 2023.
Placement Experience:
As I heard from the seniors, the students start to get their placement done at the end of 3rd year. some companies such as TCS, Wipro and Cognizant visit the college every year. The highest package offered last year was around 40 LPA and the average was 4.5 LPA. an average 80-90% of students get placed every year. I am aiming to get a job off campus for some big companies.
Remarks:
The admission process was quite smooth, I got the required documents so I did not face any problems. I found the college details on the internet from collegedunia and Shiksha. It was a good experience to collect all the necessary information from the internet.
Placement Experience:
There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

Reservation benefits are available in the college, there are fee structures for the admission process for the reservation category. The admission process is simple and straight.
Placement Experience:
These will be special committees for placement and there is one main coordinator of the community for placements, placements are very good in our college and they provide, up to an average 27 lack per annum as the placement package.
Remarks:
Eligibility is required for the course, and the admission list is based on the marks which are getting into the CET, according to the department. The list will also depend on the cast or reservation seats. Marks will be very important in the cet exam.
Placement Experience:
students get placement from third year as per their coding abilities. TCS, L&T, ACCENTURE, and PERSISTENT ARE some the companies visit our college for placement per year. the average package and highest pakage are 3>8 lack and 44 lack respectively for CS and IT branch. almost 92-95% students get place as per college official data.
Remarks:
the admission process is through a cap round, you have to give mht-cet or jee main exam and according to your percentile college will be allotted. the cutoff for aids branch is 92 percentile in MHT-CET last year for the general category.
Placement Experience:
Students can be eligible for the placements after the 7th semester. No companies visited the college like Cognizant Accenture TCS and around 5000 students get placed every year. the highest package in our college was 14LPA and the average package was 4LPA. 55% gets placed every year. to get a job after my degree was my plan.
Remarks:
eligibility of the course is that you have to clear the entrance exam taken by govt of Maharashtra and apply for a cap round in the DTE portal. the application form was available in both offline and online forms. we can apply for college online and offline modes. reserved students can get scholarships and financial assistance. admission in the college will be in online mode instead of offline mode.
