School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) is an integral part of the Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad; established in the year 2012 in Ahmedabad University. SEAS offers a series of Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral programmes all designed with a student-centric pedagogy that emphasizes Project Based Learning.

School of Engineering and Applied Science’s Bachelor of Technology degree equips students with the latest techniques and theoretical frameworks in Engineering and Applied Science. In contrast to the drudgery of traditional science classrooms, the School’s courses are interlaced with hands-on project work that has students actively take up real-world engineering problems and work through them.

Stanford University is Centre for Design Research and VentureStudio have a partnership to develop an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ahmedabad through coaching and design of enterprise methodology.
SEAS collaboration with Olin College of Engineering, USA is accelerating project-based learning especially in the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
800 years old University of Valladolid, Spain and 700 old University of Ferrara, Italy are working with the Centre for Heritage Management for developing programmes and research activities in the area of heritage.
SEAS collaboration with the University of Bradford will promote student & faculty exchange and joint research.
Rennes School of Business, France has entered into a partnership with Amrut Mody School of Management for students exchange of BBA and Integrated MBA Programmes.

There is a distinguished Placement cell at the SEAS Ahmedabad premises namely Career & Development Center which provides services to students’ in shaping up their career at their maximum potential & by giving them maximum Placement & Internship opportunities at its best. The CDC takes care of all placement connected info and activities, including contacting companies interested in hiring at a regular basis at SEAS Ahmedabad University Placements sessions, student-industry talks, on and off campus tests and interviews plans, pre-placement interactions and general industry visits. Highlights of the placement statistics were like Amazon hired two students in 2017 and three students in 2018 for the role of Software Development Engineer at a salary of 15.5 Lakhs per annum.

There is a rich collection of books of more than 3249 in number, with 17 Magazines and Newspapers and approx. 225 CD, DVD, & VCDs in the SEAS Library of the institution having free enrollment which is extended to all students, faculty members and staff upon joining the Institution. There are some Digital Resources within the Library as well such as ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, Science Direct, and Indiastat.com.

Hostel: Hostels are available for boys and girls in the university campus and the rooms are available to students on first come first serve basis. Rooms have all basic amenities which make students feel like a home away from home.

Sports: University campus has facilities for various indoor games like badminton, table tennis, carom, etc. and outdoor sports like cricket, football, volleyball, etc.

SEAS Ahmedabad University Festivals:

Aaghaaz:- It is a cultural fest of the college organized in the month of December for two days. The fest hosted a combination of art and business events.

Ramzat:- It is a Garba Night Celebrations organized in the Navratri Season.
