- In college campus we can see the garden , canteen named delicious and everywhere we get the fastest wifi .

Dislike
- Its moderate, I would say, because there are a few subjects that are unnecessary and have no need in our future. All the optional subjects, like bridge engineering and many others, are not available. So, a lot of subjects remain unknown to us.
- I have just reached the third year, so I dont have experience with internships. However, the college does not provide internships to seniors, although some seniors have obtained internships by applying off campus.
- Placement is bad, as mentioned earlier, the industry itself is declining. So, there is nothing to do, plus the training and placement cell is lazy.
- The college authorities do not provide any loan facilities or scholarships. We have to take a loan from either government or private banks. Afterward, we have to pay the fees through a draft. Loan candidates are granted an extension to deposit their course fee, unlike other students.
- They totally suck, actually. There is no football ground under our college. They randomly select grounds when tournaments are going to occur. The college doesnt get directly involved in our sports. A committee of students does.
- There is no college hostel. If you are from outside, you have to take private hostels outside of the college campus or PG. However, the hostels infrastructure and environment are worse than you think, and the food provided by them is just hilarious.
- The location is a bit remote, so reaching the college can be a tedious task.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements from 5th semester TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, BYJUS, TATA POWER and many more. More than 80% of Students are placed in college. so the offers made are not countable More than 700 job offers are made The highest package was offered by McAfee which was 10 lpa and the average package is 5 lakhs lpa As I said, more than 80% of students are getting placed in this college I wanted to work in an international IT company in the near future
Remarks:
Basically, the admission process was through WBJEE or JEE Main. Anyone who has taken science in class 12 is eligible to get admission here We can easily find the application form in the registered office The admission process is hassle-free hence no improvement is needed
Placement Experience:
Still thinking about this.I'm still tensed about that. 4th-year students still got no placements. They need improvement for their placement cell it has already broken, seems like nothing happened past 2 years.
Remarks:
Not too hard to admit. Eligibility of this course in my college you can find it through WBJEE, JEE. It has no reservation benefit. Management quota is so much poor that one can feed his family for 3 years easily. To be honest I will give this 1 star out of 5.

Eligibility of course is cut off WBJEE and 60% above in 12th you can find application forms on WBJEE website and MAKAUT websites reservation for state quota 80% another state 15% and 5% for management from last year the admission was a bit late compared to other university
Course Curriculum Overview:
In my college, there are 3 unit test for every b tech course you take and one semester every two years and the syllabus are provided by makaut faculties are good and the student ratio is 1:10 for boys and girls

the admission process is simple when you are qualified by WBJEE you can apply for online counselling or rather you can apply through management quota if you are not eligible for counselling it cost you extra than the regular fee
Placement Experience:
Form 6th semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies like Amazon, Samsung Cognizant, Wipro, Tech-Mahindra, Tcs etc(more than 100 companies) visited last year. The Highest package was 36Lpa(off campus) and 12Lpa(on campus). Last year about 97% of students got placed, and 100% were placed in CSE, IT & ECE departments. core Branches like ME & CE also got placed but their package is lower. EE Got good placement also.
Remarks:
Last Year's admission was a bit late compared to other universities. our college started in mid-November so the semester preparation time was about three months instead of six months. The admission approval was getting rejected due to a poor payment system.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I personally had a great interest in computer science and engineering. That's why I choose this branch in my college. The professors here are really nice except for a few. I would like to mention that the cse departmental proof. are very good, especially HOD who is very student-friendly. Student to teacher ratio is 1:30 .Teachers here are highly qualified and teach well. Terms exams are held in about 3-6 months of gap. Semester exams have difficulty of moderate to bit hard. Max number of students pass the exams.

The faculty members of this college are very professional and friendly . the faculty members are actively involved in research and development activities and many of them have published books and research papers in reputed journals.

Candidates must appear WBJEE OR JEE MAIN exam After that, we can apply online on the official website. the application fee is 500 within the due date we have to submit an application.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering because nowadays you have a very good scope in these fields. Even there is a subgroup of computer science such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, IOT, and many more so one can follow their interest in any of the subjects in their specialization.IT industry is growing very fast these days so I think I can do my level best in this field. The faculty members in this is very student friendly you can communicate with them any time you need they are ready to help in the best way possible. Classes are taken regularly all the labs are well-maintained. Teachers teach different kinds of presentations with projectors. Class tests are taken every month and assignments are given every week. The question paper they set is moderate level and one can easily pass if he/she studies.
Remarks:
The admission process in this college was very transparent. I took my admission through the WBJEE exam. You have to just fill the WBJEE counseling choices very carefully because once it's filled and saved you cannot change that. So you need to be very careful while filling up that choice. Once you get your preferred branch in this college you will have to go to the college they will very the documents and they will start with the admission process. There are no Reservation Facilities in this college. You have to take admission only through JEE or WBJEE. You can also take admission through the Management quota.

To be eligible for admission to MSIT Kolkata’s BTech programmes Aspirants must have cleared their Class 12th with a minimum of 45% marks. I entered this college through WBJEE in the ECE department with a rank of 34000. The counselling process went smoothly.
