Likes
- The teachers try their best to make the students understand the concepts, but if someone doesnt get it in class, they allow them to ask questions so that their doubts are cleared.
- It will also provide a great opportunity for everyone to be a part of the best working culture that our college provides.
- It is one of the best colleges under BPUT, and almost 80-90% of the students are placed.
- I dont feel like our college wastes a lot of money; it provides good opportunities and placements.
- Campus life is very good; it has a huge and lengthy cafeteria. The food quality is very good and delicious, and it is offered at a very reasonable price. Additionally, there is a gym, swimming pool, football ground, and basketball court.
- Hostels are spacious, with good cleaning facilities such as efficient maids and housekeeping. Additionally, the rooms are also spacious.
- College is good. For those who want to study in Bhubaneswar, Silicon will be the best choice.
Dislike
- Our college syllabus comes from BPUT University, situated in Rourkela. The syllabus is quite outdated, except for some core subjects like DS and OS.
- No, this college does not provide any internships, but it does provide sufficient facilities to do internships in other places. The average stipend amount is about 10000 rupees.
- The cost of the study is optimized so that poor students can complete their Bachelors.
- A big library is available, but there are no other facilities. Sports gym is not available, only focus is on study. Greenery is also not available, and basic requirements are not fulfilled.
- The mess food quality is very poor, and dinner is the worst I have ever eaten in my life.
- There is nothing bad in the college; its just that the college campus is small and its infrastructure needs some work.

Placement Experience:
The placement is good. The earlier highest package was 20 lpa and the average was also best of 8lpa this year 90 per cent are placed my plan is to do mtech by cracking gate if I get a good placement then I opt for a job
Remarks:
I got 76 percentile in jee mains and applied simply online through the silicon website portal and choose the coarse computer engineering eligibility should be 75 percentile for outside Odisha students one thing while the procedure is online and we have to give advance payment of 15000 rs.
Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, and cognizant are some major mnc's which come as mass recruiters. Around 90% of the students are placed last year.
Remarks:
Must have cleared the jee entrance and 12th boards. Our college has a specific website where we can find the admission details and other forms. No such improvement is required most of the facilities are available.
Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester, students are applicable for a sit-in placement drive. Lots of companies visited here like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is 4lps and the highest is 8lpa this year. About 80 percentage student was placed this year. I want to do MTech after completing my degree.
Remarks:
Eligibility is 60 percent in class 12 and jee marks are compulsory for ojee counseling. The college itself does counseling if asked by you, but Jee score is a must. Through counseling, you got a reservation on ojee ( economic backward class) reservation is there in college. You can also fill provision admission form from Google to get easily admission to this college during September-oct month of every year. The admission process is so easy and every faculty helps a lot during the admission process. A fee of 50,000 has to pay during the admission process.
Placement Experience:
Almost 95% of the students get placed every year. Students get Multiple job offers from MNCs. The highest package offered is 33 lakh per annum. The average package is 6 lakh per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, mind fire solutions, Infosys, cognizant, etc.

The admission process is simple. You have to score a decent percentile and rank in jee main Or ojee exam to take admitted at silicon. You can also take provisional admission through the college website by paying 50000 advances then the college will book a seat for you, but which branch will be provided will be decided after ojee counseling. The reservation process will be as per the government guidelines.

In silicon institute of technology college, the placement facility is very good. Every year they give 100% placement results at the avg package is 4.5lpa. From the 6th semester, you can eligible for campus placement. there are many companies are visited our college like Infosys, Capgemini etc. avg package is 4.5lpa and the highest package is 33.15lpa. there are 100% of students getting placement. my plan is after the degree I am going abroad for higher study.

First of all you take your jee-main exam and odisha jee main exam after that you applied through the rank then you get your seat confirm.you can find your application form,fees,dates in our college website. In this college reservation chances very low. No improvement in admission process.

Our college students become eligible at 7th sem for placement and the companies start visiting campus this year 193 companies visited and the highest package was by one of our senior in Amazon 25 lpa around more than 95 per cent of students gets placement here
Remarks:
The selection was through OJEE and I had a rank of 189324, I wanted to get CSE branch but due to cut off I ended up having the ECE branch, I've not taken any reservation benefits, I think the admission process is quite good and doesn't require any changes, the application form can be found on OJEE and the fees was 1000 for application purposes.

96% of the students placed in 2022. Students got multiple jobs offers with differential salary packages with the highest offer of 33 LPA in 2022. Students get opportunities for paid internships with the highest stipend of 40,000 per month. Final semester internships with monthly stipend varying from 8000 to 40,000. The number of students with paid internships increases every year. The admission is based on ojee and jee mains examination. You can also take provisional admission. SC, ST, OBC, GREEN CARD, PWD, and EWS get reservations. You can visit the college website for the application form, dates and fees too. The website can be easily accessed.

From the seventh semester students become eligible. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys take a maximum number of students with an average package of 3.6 LPA. The highest package was 25LPA from Amazon. 90% of students were placed.
Remarks:
It was based on the ranks of JEE and OJEE. Need a decent rank to get into the college, if the GEN category. Requires offline submission of documents. Didn't face any issues in the admission process, apart from paying the whole amount in one go.

Remarks:
One can get a seat by giving the Odisha jee (ojee) exam, and get a seat by scoring a minimum 2000 rank. Eligibility criteria are minimum graduation or BCA or diploma. The application for ojee exam is released nearly in July-august month. The admission process takes nearly upto 2-3 months from the duration of the test exam till they get a seat in the college. One can also get a seat in the masters of computer application by scoring a good rank in nimcet exam also. In this way also a non-technical student can start their carrier in a technical field. Some improvements required in the admission process like allow the applicant in each round about the cut-off score and vacancy list in each and every college also telling them the admission fee of each college also about the placement details and success stories of the students so that a student can get the whole details before taking admission in the college.
