Remarks :

The admission process is simple. You have to score a decent percentile and rank in jee main Or ojee exam to take admitted at silicon. You can also take provisional admission through the college website by paying 50000 advances then the college will book a seat for you, but which branch will be provided will be decided after ojee counseling. The reservation process will be as per the government guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty members are highly qualified. Some of them are Ph.D. holders. They are very helpful and kind. The student and teacher ratio is 15:1. The conduction of exams is very tough. You have really studied hard to pass the semester.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The summer internship helps the students to develop skills and gain knowledge. It helps in the summer break of the 2 4 6 semesters. The highest salary offered in an internship is 40000. Students develop small projects during this.

Placement Experience :

Almost 95% of the students get placed every year. Students get Multiple job offers from MNCs. The highest package offered is 33 lakh per annum. The average package is 6 lakh per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, mind fire solutions, Infosys, cognizant, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is as follows, The course fee is 150000 per year, The hostel fee is 38000 per year for non-ac rooms and 53000 per year for ac rooms. The college doesn't provide any special scholarships. They help you get a scholarship from govt if you are eligible.

Campus Life :

The campus life is awesome at silicon. There will be certain events in every 3 to 4 Months. The name of the annual fest is zygon. It conducted in the month of April for two days. There are many clubs run by the institution and student like dance club, music club, photography club, quiz club.

Honest review about CGU

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement many companies used to come such as Amazon, cisco, pwc, tcs, wipro, cognizant, and many more companies come for campus placement. The highest package is 45 lakhs whereas the lowest pakage is 4.5 to 5lakh. more than 95 percent of students get placed. My next plan after getting the degree is to become a politician.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the start of the 7th semester. Anyone having zero backlogs is eligible to sit for placements. Around 200-250 companies from different sectors like IT, analytics, finance, and electronics visit every year. Around 900 students were placed last year from 1100 students with a record of 100% placement in the Mining And Metallurgy Department. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs from Microsoft and the average package was 11 lakhs. If in case you didn't get placements you can still try for off-campus placements in various companies. I am already selected for an internship at Qualcomm and will target PPO next year.

I am doing my bachelor's degree at this college. From school life, I loved computers and technology. So that I joined here for my brightest future. And here there are many branches and students. And the faculties are highly educated & the sem exams are computer so I improved my skill a lot in computers, and some of my teachers are too informational like you, sir/ma'am. so thank you for your good teaching which is very useful not only in the classroom but also outside helpful. And because of the much learn from campus, I want to be a faculty myself after completing my education as it is not just part-time work it's full-time work and also a lifelong goal to fulfil both teachings and learning about information technology topics.
