Placements are among top-tier MBA institutes. While the highest package was around 67lpa, the average package went to 17lpa. The whole batch was placed in around 14 days. The placement season welcomed 150+ recruiters for the placement of 550+ candidates
Any undergrad degree is required. There is no bar on percentage on 10/12/ undergrad. But a profile of 7/7/7 is considered good. Usually cat cut-off is around the 90-93 percentile. There is no reservation as such but the college gives an edge to students with the exceptional profile.
Students become eligible for the summer internship placement process with the commencement of their courses. All students are shortlisted and selected for internships during placement week. After completion of internships, students become eligible for final placements. All students get placed during the final placements week. The details of the highest and average packages, profiles and companies are mentioned in the placement report on the official website. After completing my course, I wish to work as a Marketing Manager in a prominent MNC.
IMT Ghaziabad has a stringent process for admissions. There are two modes of shortlisting; the first is CAT/XAT/GMAT score-based selection, and the second is profile-based selection. I was shortlisted based on my CAT score, which was 94.96 percentile. I submitted my SOP, attended a critical ability test and a personal interview, and got selected for the first merit list. The process was very smooth. I got regular updates in my email regarding the selection of slots and a detailed structure of the entire process for my benefit.
Placements occur 2 times, summer placements for a summer internship at the end of 1st year for 2 months, and final placements. Summer placements occur in the first term itself after about a month of joining the college and final placements occur in the 5th term. 100% of the batch gets placed with an average package of 17.35 lacs per annum. The highest domestic is 36 lacs per annum and the highest international is for a company named Tolaram which was 65.6 lacs per annum. Other companies which visited were Bajaj, Barclays, Reckitt, Mahindra, Google, Bain and company, Nivea, TCPL, etc. Profiles offered are Analyst, Financial Risk and advisory, Credit, General Management, Strategy, Consulting, Project Manager, Product Manager, Marketing and Sales, FPA, Market Research, HR Manager, Operations Manager, etc.
Process consisted of shortlisting candidates on basis of their entrance scores which were from CAT, XAT or CMAT. IMT also accepts GMAT scores. Then conducting a WAT test followed by a PI. The application form was available on the website of college. Application fees was 2500 INR. Eligibility was that it required students to have graduated or atleast in the final year of graduation. Cut off for the college was around 92 percentile for CAT and XAT. The college also admits candidates with exceptional profiles for eg. - National or international representation.
Campus placement starts in the Second year. This year it started in November and all the 575 students got places in mere 15 days. My plans after getting the degree are to get into a product management role.
It was fair, there was one critical ability test followed by a personal interview. Eligibility for getting admission is having a 90+ percentile in either CAT or XAT. GMAT score is also accepted with a score of 650+. I found the application form on the college website. No reservations about this college
The college provides campus placements, with the interviews for Summer internships taking place by the mid of the first trimester itself and the final placements in the fifth trimester. The placements for IMT-G have been growing consistently. The highest package for the 2021-23 batch was around 65.6 LPA and the average was 17.35 LPA. 150 + companies visited the campus. The batch recorded 100% placements with a pool of 475 students placed in 15 days.
Admissions into this college are allowed through CAT, XAT, and GMAT. I took CAT for admission, the cut-off for which is around 90-92 Percentile to get a call from IMT, although if a candidate has an exceptional profile or academics they do give opportunities to around 87-88 Percentile scoring candidates as well.
To explore more career opportunities in my domain, I wanted to pursue a degree in management. This led me to IMT. Our college currently has a 1:60 faculty-student ratio. The faculty are all learned people with extensive academic as well as Industry experience and the pedagogy is very well executed. One of the best in the country, for sure. The teaching is mostly case-based unless it is a quantitative subject. MBA is a rigorous program and most colleges offer the trimester system where a huge amount of exams, presentations, assignments, and quizzes will keep you on your toes all the time. Be well prepared to work beyond normal hours.
You need to give one of the following exams to get into IMT Ghaziabad- CAT, XAT, or GMAT. You should have completed your graduation or should be in the final year of your graduation course. You can apply from IMT's official website, last date to apply is 31st January, and the form costs 2500. IMT does not have any reservation/quota for admissions. The admission process is ideal taking into consideration your educational background/work-ex/ other achievements as well as the ability to ace the interview and the written ability test.
The campus final placements happen in the month of November in the fifth term. This year 150 companies visited the campus. The average package stood at 1735000 with a median package of 1600000. The highest domestic package was 3400000.
The institute accepts CAT and GMAT scores. Last year people at 88%ile and above in CAT got the interview calls. The admission form is available on the official website. The admission process was smooth. First, we had a critical thinking round, and after that, the interview round was held. Finally, the scores of both rounds along with work ex and 10th, 12th, and graduation grades were considered to make the final calls.
There is a 100% placement record at IMT. The summer internship process starts in the first term itself. There is a dedicated placement week for the same. The highest summer stipend offered this year was 4 lacs for two months. About the final placements, the highest stipend offered was 65.6 lacs(international) and 34 lacs(domestic). The average saw an all-time high of 17.35 lacs. There were 150+ companies, with 30+ of them having names in the Fortune 500 list, that made 450+ offers on campus. The list includes names like Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Nivea, Mondelez, Reliance, Adani, etc. As I am interested in the brand management role, my plan after geting the degree is to secure a job in the marketing sector and build my career in the same.
MBA at IMT is a two-year, fully residential program offering courses in fields like Marketing, Finance, HR, BFS, and Operations. There is no separate exam for IMT-G as such, it accepts CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores. The minimum percentile for CAT and XAT was 90/92 last year, and for GMAT, the score was 630+. Candidates are also selected based on exceptional profiles/work experiences. The shortlisted candidates were called for an online WAT/PI round, and it is probably going to be the same as last year. Candidates can fill out the application form (approx. Rs. 2500) through the website, and the interview process will start soon, in the first week of February. The whole process was relatively smooth, with a lot of hand-holding throughout. There was a WAT topic given to the candidates, then the interviews were conducted one on one by the current faculty ranging from basic HR questions to stressful ones. Just try to maintain your calm and be honest. Leave the rest!
Placements are very much emphasized. As soon as you complete your summer internship, companies start visiting the campus for recruitment. There's the possibility that one might be in the middle of their second year and already placed with a good package.
I took admission through the CMAT exam. The cut-off for the same was the 90 percentile. The admission process was very fair. It included two rounds. The First was a critical reasoning test and the second was a personal interview round. Though I didn't get any reservation benefits because I belong to the general category but there are opportunities for other candidates. One can find all the details regarding admission on the institute's official website and also on various YouTube channels. The eligibility is a minimum of three years of graduation from a recognized university followed by the accepted exams.

For admission in the MBA college, I gave CAT and other exams also. But, I got admission in IMT from CAT. After CAT, GD-PI sessions were conducted to check the different attributes of a particular student. For CAT or any other MBA entrance exam, you should be atleast in your final year of bachelor's. Experienced people can also apply for these MBA entrance tests. Several reservation benefits are available in all these entrance tests. The admission process requires no changes as it gets varied upon college to college.
SBy - StudentThe admission process involved giving the CAT exam and then further applying to college via the college website. Then based on percentile we were given a shortlist for GD/PI round. Then there was a WAT round and then a PI round based on whose results a composite score is allotted and the final admission offer is given based on that.
SBy - StudentExams - CAT/XAT. the cutoff is around 94% for freshers, but there is provision for people with work ex. The application form will be available on the website. once you are selected for the next round based on your exam scores, then you have to appear for WAT and PI. There is no reservation as such, but there are certain provisions for female candidates, like discounts on fees. overall the admission process is quite smooth and well-managed.
