I chose this course as I loved chemistry. The faculties in this college are really good and they give really brilliant classes, at least in the chemistry department. There is an adequate number of faculties in perfect ratio with the students. The faculties are extremely educated with many having qualifications of Ph.D., JRF, and PDF. The exams were a bit off time due to COVID but now it is normal. Exams are fairly easy to pass if you study at least at an average level.
The admission process is rather simple. You don't need to take any entrance exams. You can get admission based on your higher secondary marks. The forms and application fees can be obtained and paid in the college. There are reservations for the 'Nair' caste. In my opinion, the administration could have been a bit more assuring one where the student could feel that this is a college that would help them develop into a better person.
I chose the English language and literature course due to my interest in reading books and it was one of a good decisions. The faculty members were really experienced and very clear about the course and the exams were not so much easy and thinking about English only as a language and getting to the course is a mistake. There are a lot more things beyond poems and novels in the course.
The admission process was online. It was done through the registration channel of Calicut University and the allotment was online. Thus the students got admitted to college according to their marks.
