The college also offers a wide range of PG courses for the graduates willing to undergo higher studies in the concerned department. The Postgraduate courses are of two years duration. 

In addition to it, the college also offers one-year PG Diploma courses in Computer Science and Medical Laboratory Technology and Master at Social Work (MSW) course under three different specializations.

Selection Criteria

Selection of candidates to the postgraduate programs offered by Stella Maris College is done on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination as well as interview round. 

The candidates must submit the following documents at the time of selection:

• STD X Statement of Marks or Equivalent Certificate
• STD XII Statement of Marks or Equivalent Certificate
• Pass Certificate (CBSE/ISC/others)
• Diploma Certificate (if available) for international applicants
• Statement of Marks (semester/year) of the undergraduate program of study
• Consolidated Statement of Marks or Cumulative Marks Statement of the
• Undergraduate program (in the case of applicants from Autonomous Colleges)
• Undergraduate Degree/Provisional Certificate issued by the University
• Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate
• Community Certificate in the case of MBC/OBC/DNC/BC/SC/ST
• Certificate of proof for the differently-abled and for daughters of ex-servicemen
• Baptism Certificate and letter from Parish Priest for Catholic applicants
• Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras (for applicants who have passed their qualifying examinations from other Universities)
