Thiagarajar College, in Madurai in the state of Tamil Nadu was established in 1949. The college is a private, aided, co-educational institution affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. It is managed by the Kalaithanthai Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettiar Memorial Trust. Thiagarajar College offers courses in both Self finance and Aided streams.
Thiagarajar College offers 11 undergraduate courses and 8 courses are offered at postgraduate level. The institute also offers 4 M.Phil. courses and Ph.D. programs. At Postgraduate level Thiagarajar College offers MA, M.Sc and M.Com courses, each of two years duration. Minimum eligibility for admission to PG courses is graduation in the concerned discipline.
