Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics) From Womens College, Agartala

Applicants seeking admission to B.A. (Hons.) Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute:

• Any passing HSC/ 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with atleast 4 subjects including English from any recognized board/ council provided she has secured in that examination atleast,
• 40% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject in which she seeks major programme (Honours) OR 35% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the subject in which he/ she seeks major programme (Honours)
• Any one securing atleast 50% marks in aggregate shall be eligibile for taking Major Programme (Honours) in a subject, which she did not study H.S.or equivalent examination, subject to the restriction of combination of subjects.

NOTE: However, no candidate shall be allowed for admission into the 1^st semester programme after a lapse of more than 5 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.
