There are 8 university hostels for ladies and 7 for men. All facilities are given in the best way possible compared to the other private hostels. There is a hostel curfew till 11. Food is average but can be improved through continuous complaining.
Life at CUSAT is just hyperactive. We have programs every once in a while. On-campus and off-campus life are good enough. Along with academics, one could get a chill life out there for sure. All sports are played on the campus. The library is big and has a good number of books.
Hostel facility you will get a table, a bed, and a chair in one room allotted for two students. Meal quality is good since there is a different ways of flooding Students select two in charge of mess from them and decide what the menu should be, but you need to pay the Amount Spent on flooding. The person who is selected for management need not pay.

Techfest Dhishna is there in the college. It is conducted in the month of February. All the books as per the syllabus are available in the college library. College provides all kinds of amenities for the students. There is a projector in every classroom. We have an arena for sports. Students can practise different sports there.
Our college has many techs and nontech events, including the college fest .one is Dhishana which is conducted every year. And there are other fests like Medha, Sargam, etc. about the library we have one central library for the whole University which is very large and has a collection of books, also we have libraries for each course on their campus, the classroom is full smart and digitalized with smart board, projectors, many clubs are running in our college like IEEE, space up, mind Empowered, etc., sports will happen every year.
The hostel facility is average to good. Not great anyways. We have a hostel mess conducted by the students themselves. So we have control over the alteration of the menu. Hostel registration is free of cost and there is a website for it. Also if you are not interested in govt hostel or if you have not got any, there are many private hostels in the near surroundings itself.
We have fests frequently here. Our Onam festival is one of the best in Kerala. We have a tech fest called Dhishana and it's awesome. We have a great library here at the college and also there is an even bigger university library. Annually sports and games are conducted.
Dishna was the biggest fest we were attend in college and it is conducted in February one month tech fest. There a 2 library one main and one for the department, I think it Is very good. Sports are very supportive every year there would be an annual sports meet in the total campus. The social group is the student community which is well-known on campus.

The CAT exam is conducted by the university. Just write on the internet about CUSAT CAT registration you will get the link for registration. Generally its forms in February or March. If you are Keralite and general you need to pay only 50000. If you are Keralite and SC/ST you have to pay only around 500.
SKBy - SONU KUMARThe admission process is smooth. The eligibility for this course Admission to CUSAT is through the CUSAT-CAT examination. Since our batch(2020) admission was during Covid, The criteria were 10 and 12th percent. Most of the procedures were online and through portals.
MKBy - MINU S KISHOREThe CAT exam is conducted by the university and the rank determines the eligibility in various courses, Ship technology, and Computer Science Engineering are chosen by most of the high-ranked students. The official website of cusat will provide official notifications on exams. Most of the admission procedures are conducted in offline mode, In my opinion, it would be more comfortable if processed in online mode.
